Put T-5s on my 2006 shee. Jetted to exactly what Tommey says on install kit. 280 mains, stock pilots, air screw 1.5 turns out. Has 2-1 Unifilter with outwear. No other mods done to bike. I am at 2550 ft above sea level with temps 80-110. Mixing Yamalube at 32:1 with premium gas
Heres problems,
Install brand new plugs with gap at .028. Bike hauls ass for about 30 to 45 minutes. Then starts to Loose power from 0 to 1/4 throttle. When you hit the gas it bogs until about 1/4 throttle then screams. Pull plugs and they are brown with some wet fuel sometimes but not always. Put in new plugs, hauls ass again for about 30 -45 minutes. Doesnt matter if trail riding or drag racing. Feels like its fowling plugs. Did search on forums and lot of people talking about running 300+ mains. Toomey says 280's good for 0 to 2500 feet. Any advice? Do I need to go up in mains even though i run good WOT.
Any body with same mods and setup running different jetting?
What are you running at this elevation and setup?
Not a big problem but I go through plugs like crazy!
Last dumbass question - which way do you turn airscrews to lean mixture?
