i hear passion builds some fast bikes but ya, i hear FAST racing is real good too. Passion seems to go for more bottom end, mine is very snappy on the bottom, and still a beast on top. I think that hot mx port job is a little more set to the top end, but dont quote me one that. Of course the port job route will make your bike MUCH faster than with just bolt ons, thats the secret to a fast banshee. I would get T5 pipes instead of getting FMF's, but CPI's kill them both on top. the T5's are a good mix of bottom and top. What kind of riding do you want to do, that will be the biggest factor in this.

it depends on whats important to you, if your doing tight trails and jumping, i would get a 250r. BUT they are not as fun as a banshee in my opinion, that is if the 250r is anything like a lt250 which i am sure it is. That thing has enough torque for me to pick up the front at any time, really. If your into open riding alot, you will be dissapointed unless you mod it pretty heavy, all you need is pipes to make a shee scream pretty damn good. If you really want an all around machine, a 250r is for you. me, however, couldnt stand riding without that crazy hit of a banshee

thats crazy!! its 96.234, duh, everyone knows that
-
your jetting must be off, sounds like everyone else said. Play with the clip a little, see where that gets you before you order new jets.

those 250's have so much bottom end it is amazing. I just picked up a 86 LT 250, it isnt even the year it had a powervalve. The top end is nothing special, But still plenty ineresting. If you havnt riden a banshee alot, the top end will still keep you entertained. The thing is a wheelie machine too, very easy to do and control. its a shame i cant keep the thing, i bought it for the soul purpose of selling it to make more money. All there is to say is, its a good trail quad, but no banshee If anyone needs any LT 250 parts, PM me, i have practically another LT in pieces. I will have some pictures and some wheelie videos up soon.

after reading through the site, its $200 for the clear cover. I guess it is worth it because you can get to your clutch now without removing the whole side cover, instead of buying the duncan racing one thats like $400 i think. Thats the only real advantage with it besides the fact it looks cool as hell. there tell you all you need to know here http://www.directdrivecnc.net/banqcm.html I always wanted one, but i need to get some v-forces first!!
-
when my shee is off, i cant get past like second gear unless i budge the quad back a little to let it engage. Not sure if that helps at all, just figured it wouldnt hurt.

i used to work at a poultry shop in newark a while back. they stocked hundreds of chickens, bunnys, turkeys, pigeons, the whole bit. Some of those fucker will mess your arms up bad, their claws are damn sharp. best of all when you would grab them sometimes they would piss all on your hand. But i got my revenge when i would slit thier throat and put them in the defeathering machine Some people wouldnt want to buy from us because they thought it was cruel that we would kill the animals. Of course as an employee i couldnt yell at them for being so stupid, but i couldnt help from cracking up.

That might do a little more than make him loose power, might make it go KABOOM!!

lightened up the pic some, it looks pretty good as far as i can see. Not sure if it is an fmf full system or just the silencer. i wish i could see the engine though...

hey, i have an oppertunity to get a good running 1986 lt250, and a whole crap load of other parts for about 1900. the other parts include a lt 250 frame and plastics, 4 tires, axel, steering stem, and 3 jugs with bores left on them!! There are many, many other parts included in this deal too such as engine cases, a clutch, and such all from another lt 250. I know the running 250 had a fmf pipe and aftermarket shocks with rezzies but i dont know any real specifics yet. My plan is to buy this stuff, then turn around and sell it individually for a nice profit. You guys think its worth the $1900, i may even get it for less. let me hear your opinion, how are these bikes and will anyone buy the parts

i use castrol super clean. wet the bike down, spray the plastics with the super clean, and hose it down. Then spray the engine and pipes heavily with super clean, let it sit for a minute, and hose it off. Thats pretty much it, go over it with a towel and dry it. if it is really dirty i take off the pipes and silencers and hit them up with mothers polish, makes it look great! I may even take off all the plastic if it is that bad. It takes a couple hours but the end result is worth it!

I can try something, send me some pics and i will see what i can do [email protected]

Was bored tonight, and i needed something to use my new background on, wipped it up real fast

i think "flaming ass peter licking homos" works a little better

not that it matters now, but for break in you shouldnt use synthetic oils. What i used was a oil by honda called GN 2. It was hard to find, but it is best for break in according to jim at passion racing. It mixes with synthetic oils too so you can switch right over. i mixed 2.5 gallons of GN 2, for those 2.5 gallons i did nothing special except let it warm up extra long. I let it have it as soon as i knew my jetting was good. Let me tell you, I have not had a single problem yet, and this has been since december so i know nothing out of the ordinary will go wrong.

they know exactly what they are talking about 7/7 in a dune shootout, behind the DS, V force, predater, raptor, and 450's. check my old old post http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...opic=33614&hl=:

what are they worth to you? i really dont know how much they go for and i dont want to lowball you. if you dont want to say ill do some research. how old are they, what year is the shee they are off?

Hey, im looking to upgrade my front shocks, but not break the bank on brand new ones. If you are willing to trade for stock shocks, plus cash, see my post in the trades forum. They need to be in good condition, for a person 200-230 LBS, stock arms, and not for TT. Not looking to go all out, anything is an improvment over stock, if they are ugly i will throw some covers on them. Im not looking for a perticular brand, just close to my specs. Thanks for your time, just throw anything at me!!
-
Hey, i have stock shocks on a 2003 banshee, always had covers on them. they are red and work perfectly. Give me an offer, my stock shocks plus whatever its worth to you for your aftermarket banshee shocks. They must be set up for a person 200-230 LBS, stock arms, and not for TT. Rezzies, no rezzies, dual rate, tripple rate, dont matter to me!! juat give me some offers!

first time i went wakeboarding i fell flat on my face trying to get up, thats the last time i tried. I got real good at snowboarding so i think things might go a little smoother next time....
-
yep, and shipping i think.
-
very good for an older bike, but a little low if you ask me. The last time i didnt pay attention to low compression, my piston shattered. Thank god it was in the CR, 60 bucks to fix it versus 250 bucks in the shee.

just sent them an email, i'll see how it goes!
