how rusted is it? the cr i have had some rust on the fmf pipe it had, so i just took it off, got a steel wool pad and some soap and just scrubbed away on it. it did not have that much rust, so i dont know how good it works if it is heavy. then i always polish my pipes with mothers, shines them real good.

cool heads are awesome, not only do they perform great, but they just give your engine a really trick look. I get the most compliments on the head than anything else, but it is like the simpliest thing i have done. hell, it was much harder to put my graphics on than that head

im wanting to get one of thouse roundhouse swingers, but dont have that cash, 600 big ones. how much better is an aftermarket swing arm VS a stock swingarm with the conversion? I am sick and tired of trying to get the chain perfect and keep it there, its a pain to adjust. while im there i will probally grind down all the brake tabs since i got rid of the parking brake and got stainless rear lines, then buy some billet clamps. and of course get it powdercoated black. i know cotton eyed joe sells them for $200, how much do you think a welder would charge to slap it on? basically i think it may come to $300 or a little more, is it worth it or just save it untill i get some new front shocks?

same exact thing happened to me with my cr, i heard clanking sounds and couldnt get it to start. my guiness says borrow a rope and pull start it, i actually got it to run for like a minute then it just pissed out and locked up. lucky for me no damage was done except a shattared piston skirt, the crank was untouched so i flodded the crank case with gas, drained it, and got the remaining particles with a tweaser. with a banshee you might want to open it up though, especially since it only cost me 70 bucks for the piston and gaskets and thats all you need for a new top end on a dirtbike.

maybe the seal for your shift shaft is bad, or maybe even the whole shift mechanism is bad, which is why it wont shift. you better hope thats what it is, that would be much cheaper and easier than having to take the whole engine apart and replacing the case.

i run br8es and i have way more mods than you, i do find that it will start to get hot after a while. i mean riding the thing all day without a break, so im not worried. Maybe invest in a cool head and engine ice if you have cooling problems

try listing it on www.craigslist.com, on the left click on your state, then list it under motorcycles. just watch out, there might be alot of scammers that contact you. best thing is that its FREE.

you better sit down for this one..... plug the ethernet cable into the back of your PS2 make a account ..you get all that if you dont have a router, you need to dissconnect the wire that goes from your modem to your computer, and plug it into the "network" hole in your adapter. what sucks is that you cant go online on your PC, and you gotta fish behing your computer everytime you want to play.

Im selling this nice 2000 r6 frame, it is in real good shape. It looks nice, however, there is a small crack. It can be easily welded, but since the frame is aluminum, you need to find a welder who can do it. Other than that and a couple small scratches it is in perfect condition. I have some pictures here and can get more if you wish. It does have a salvage title, it was in a theft recovery, we are asking $600 or best offer. It will be going on ebay soon so i will post a link when i list it.

thats in canadian, i think just wondering why you want an 06? why wouldnt you mod yours to hell? with that cash you could send your engine to get a complete rebuild and put a 4 mil stroker and get her ported. PC the frame, new swinger, shocks, arms, the whole shabang for less than buying a new one. if you have your heart set on the 06, you better be getting the white and silver one, that thing is sick as hell! i would keep yours if possible, maybe sell some parts off it. like the pipes, and pick up some stock ones. hell, ill give you mine for free if you pay shipping. if you cant, sell it locally, if no one bites after a while, sell it to the dealer. good luck!

im glad they didnt do anything. If they changed anything all of the mods out there would not be able to fit on there. if the powervalves were too big, most pipes wouldnt fit. companies would have to come out with all new products, just for one year of the bike. anyone ever think of that? Keep the shee the blank canvas it is no one keeps them stock anyway! those rumors never had any truth behind them and almost everyone here knew that, alot of the people here started them as a joke and the newer members took them seriously

damn, that raptor has an MSRP of 7000, after tax and the dealers bullshit charges it will be around 8000!

they bumped up the yfz to a 449, they got the engine on the banshee right the first time.
