  1. there is such a small diffrence between the performance of the mainstream head, that i just went with the noss becasue thats what my builder prefered. i would have bought one from him either way, i think it is by far the best looking head out there, and the fact that it is available in diffrent colors is great!! i have not dealed directly with the dlnoss, but from what i have heard and seen, he is very helpfull. the quality of the product is also high, plus he gives a discount to banshee hq members what more could you want!!
  2. ya, 539 posts later!!
  3. an idea that popped into my head, kinda cheesy and not in proportion, but its just an idea
  4. as long as you put all the bolts in bags and label them, you should be fine!! a clymers maual isnt really needed to strip it, but if i was going into the engine, i wouldnt think about it unless i had a clymers. a very big advantage of having it is that all the torque specs are right in front of you, but worst comes to worst you can always ask here! I think candy apple red would look great on a black and red banshee!! thats what i would go with!
  5. i think i got it figured out. he says he likes how the headlights look without the guard in front of them, and he wants to do it on his but you need to cut them off, so im guessing he is scared to do that. he is talking about trail techs here, "the little ones", but thwy actually are much brighter than the stockers. and i guess he wants to know about a chrome ring that takes the place of the plastic headlight guard, which is made by cascade. personally, i like those plastic covers.
  6. i like the idea, i have some ideas i could sketch up!!
  7. how much are the reeds? would you want the stockers plus cash since you are putting it back to stock?
  8. do you think that this mod will increase wheel spin any? i am already having a problem with it so i woudnt want to make it any worse. this sounds like a real cool mod, especially with my bottom end dune port!!
  9. definally a good bike, fast too! here is another pic of it
  10. its a voice message from linsey lohan off of paris hiltons phone. listen to the entire thing, its funny as hell!! the quality is low so you may need to turn up the volume. http://media.ebaumsworld.com/lohanhilton.mp3
  11. so true, the local dealer tried to talk me into a 400ex when i was looking at buying new. they said you can do more to the 400ex!! i could tell he wadnt a rider becasue he called it the EX 400 fuck that, i just bought mine used!!
  12. ya, i just talked to him, he said to give it to me
  13. believe it or not, bluetraxx will be able to help you on this one. go on thier main page, www.bluetraxx.com and go to tech tips and you will see "Aluminum Water Impeller Installation" i think that tech tips thing would be a cool idea here, pictures and step by step instructions!
  14. tusk makes quality products for low prices, when my clutch goes im probally gonna go with them. i mever heard one complaint about tusk, only praise.
  15. i mean, from what it sounds like i think so. it could something as simple as tirespin, but in my banshee which has similar mods, tire spin mostly happens in the first 3 gears. after that it just pulls like a mother!!
  16. oh, no doubt your clutch is slipping if its still stock. you are pumping out some big power there.
  17. any mods? its not a big deal, a heavy duty kit only costs about 90 dollars or so depending were you buy it. its not hard to do either, especially if you have a clymers manual.
  18. how old is your shee? it sounds like the clutch is slipping
  19. 170 main? i know a stock bike with toomeys use a 280, stock pilot, and a diffrent needle. what kind of pipes are these?
  20. anything is possible, man. i have seen a 250r engine in a trx90. it looked stock from a distance, too!!! the snowmobile engine is cool, but it would be a handfull anywhere besides the strip and dunes.
  21. how does 400 sound? there is just one "problem" with it. on the gas tank, one of the 3 fender mounts has a broken bolt in it, the head snapped off. the fender stays on there just fine, but im just letting you know.
  22. i really dont know how much they are worth, i see running 2000's going for like 1000 to 1200 so i would say like 500 or best offer. i didnt pay that much for it and i dont have any use for it so as long as i get a little more than i payed i will be happy. the engine needs a new crank, seals, piston, and some other stuff, im not sure if all the bolts and clips are there for the engine. i have the engine mounts though. it would be better to buy a used engine for it. i have the pipem carb, etc too. so all it needs is the actual engine and your ready to go. i think it is geared towards 8 to 12 year olds. i dont have any paperwork on it, i bought it from a repo lot, they were messing around on it and blew the engine, so i got it very cheap. if you dont like my price, just make me an offer!
  23. i like this little guy
  24. im getting a deal on a 125 bike so instead of fixing it im just gonna part it out and try to make a few bucks. i have everything right now, the engine is in pieces so i can sell individual parts. if you want, i will even sell it whole as a roller. tell me what you need and i will give you a price. here are some pictures
