i read somewhere you can have your transmission cut to be able to shift under full throttle and no clutch

your mains should be at 280 to 300 with those mods. mine was at 280 with T6's, stock pilots and that toomey needle,i forget which clip though. You have a better filter so you may be a little bigger. You can buy a jet kit off www.toomey.com for that. T6's are great pipes, if i had not of got my bike ported, i would still have them. They sound kick ass and have great bottom end. They are the best looking pipes too in my opinion!!

i think you have a tired banshee or something, you ever check the compression and is it in tune? not bashing you, but i have riden a stock 400ex and i wasnt very impressed. i mean, dont get me wrong, it was fast enough to be intresting and it sure handled great, but it didnt give me the rush my banshee does. this is when my shee was stock too. whatever makes you happy is all that matters.

i guess you can compare the 400ex to a honda civic. slow as hell untill you dump your life savings into.

some signs might be increased smoking, it is easier to kick, and it will have very poor bottom end, and i mean very bad bogging.

i dont like doing them with the banshee because of the pipes, i bet its not even possible with rocket pipes. i used to do them sometimes, just gotta not be scared to go over the bars. i would slam on the front brakes in second gear and get it up pretty high.

i just switched over to castor 927 from belray H1R on both my bikes. when i went riding today, the guys i were riding with swore i was running race gas, it smells so sweet. that smell is what i used to associate with 2 strokes, its what i always smelt when i went riding in the sand pits on my old quad. im so happy that i finnaly have that smell, kind of wierd, aint it im mixing it a 40:1 now too, i notice it smoking less. H1R oil is much thicker than castor 927, the viscocity is much higher in the castor 927. both my bikes, banshee and cr 80 ran great, so i guess it works!!

yup, same thing happend to me on 2 of them. i just bought a tap with an identical pattern and retapped it, no new bolt needed. if you want i can check what size it is if its printed on there. i would just send it to you, but i wouldnt be suprised if it happened again.
