  4. sheesh.. no need to weld in material, or use devcon or anything like that.. these things ported right will run way better than anyone thinks. get the timings off of it and you can pm me want to know what makes these things fly most of it is in the correct transfer timing and using the pv's to your advantage.. plus i have a 400 top end that needs a new sleeve he he.. also looking at the pics noone has messed witht he boost ports they can be enlarged a LOT and need to be aimed a certain way.
  5. you wont need a billet stator with transmission support for stock arm in dirt. you also wont need a engine stay thats bolt on like that either with all the motor mounts installed like stock and all 4 side spacers on the main mounts.. i personally think that motor stay style looks goofy but thats just me. if you want to stay with stock covers hell rock em! the slingshot your probably going to have to ditch or remove a lot of the weight from it to get the bike to shift. depending on what kind of load you put on the motor. dirt riding and blowing tires off everywhere it probably wont be too bad. fox makes a piggy back shock for the rear that seems to work great. only rears i have personally rode on were axis, PEP, and marvins. but marvins on drag only and they suck for anything other than that... being that big of a motor and i'm guessing set up for tq when the bike does hook its going to be a bitch to control. id imagine a +4 will make the bike much more fun to ride. but good thing is you should be able to just tractor it around and not really need to rev the bawlzz off it just to get it to move. of course this is all my opion based on what i found out riding in dirt with high hp motors.

  7. i think i also have a set of same side bare racers edge / k+t sitting in the attic. they are really top end heavy pipe i'd be interested in the carbs. maybe paddles i also have a round carrier drag +6 with bar mounts.

  12. very nice shape. head pipe has dent in the bottom from the motor mount. silencers excellent shape. i will post pics as soon as i figure it out.. $450.00 yes they are chrome and yes i can send the toomey needles and some main jets.

  15. getting a -1 swinger and +1 forward a-arms makes the bike fly way better and hit whoops much better. you basically move the motor up on inch and that makes the weight balance shit tons better
  16. ok i stopped a few responses in.. if your dead set on the 2-1 setup thats fine. that big list that was priced out is so dead on unless your shooting for that or buy that setup your shitting in the wind.. OR just buy my LSR with bar and 485 cheeta for $7500 turn key and race your ass off OR just build a 400 scrambler for bracket racing. your going to be way better off. take to your 2 tracks spend all your time chassis and clutch tunning untill it runs the exact time every time no matter what time that is. win your class. record those settings and at each track do just that. run the winning setups and kepp track of them over the season make slight adjustments to it untill you have a dead on plan for winning races.. nobody will care if your running 6.5's if your taking home the win every weekend

  20. how can you have the wrong needle if they have pe-1's in them? ( alky) i personally have seen more issues with people installing dirty or unpurged un clean lectrons than anything. not sure why people seem to think they are just fine to buy used and imediatley slap on the bike and run em, when the same person wouldnt buy a set of anything else and just throw them on without completely taking them apart and cleaning every mm of them ?? nothing wrong with pwk's or mikuni's i guess if your going to do a set to just order the 3 different size needles you may need and then you can have what you would possibly need when you get ready to run them/. plus billet bowls. of course either would need the larger bowls anymore. its just my personal preference. and after watching temps change and seeing people fight mikuni, and pwk's in those situations and knowing that in about 5 minutes i can change the needle position if i ever need to with the lectron. although unless its a big temp change i usually don't have to i just prefer easy. and also i can on a lectron revert back to gas without even taking them of the bike..
