in all reality the "mx" port that i do is very similar to the "drag" port i would do. the biggest difference is in how much would someone pay for it. that would result in how much work i would do for it. im sure anyone you call that builds motors you said hey asshole i only have 150 bucks to spend and i wand a "drag port" would not get as much work ( time spent) as the guy who said i dont care what it cost's just build it both types of motor HOWEVER would have completely different port timings, angles of the transfer's and exhaust port shapes and size, the no holds barred would both be fully welded cyls but have power bands in differnt realms of runnin. so building one style of motor and thats it then expecting the pipe to do all the work is a little ludacrist.. THIS IS MY OPINION SO IF YOU GET PISSED WELL TO BAD pt mids suck. for a mx pipe you might as well run modded stockers. they do have a very nice clearance for your legs but power wise i dont see how they can be called the bad ass mx pipe.. in the last few years i have found 2 pipes that offer much stronger low end and midrage pull. the only reason MOST like the pt is because they really dont do shit and have nearly no pipe hit. so that means less wear on the rider ( due to lack of real training if actually in mx racing) i personally feel a predictable power band is much easier to ride. in mx type riding,.. dunes also seem to favor this type of motor output as well. ah who the hell cares anyways!

oem suzuki studs?? like the staggerd size studs? ha ha. are they 10mm into the cyl and then 8mm towards the head? or 8mm in cyl and 6mm out to head ( yikes)

there have been a lot of knock off pipes sold on ebay. most of them were claimed to be grr or CPI. at least back in the day when grand river was the BBD. and not that i'm defending anyone but all kinds of things can cause overheated engine and blown motor/ holes in piston. hell there are probably 200 posts on this site with pics of that exact thing happening. i dont think even one of them has a solution as to pipe stinger size. i would say tho that a stinger that smal can make some power BUT will be a short burst pipe. run them down a dirt road with to much of a "dyno" tune on them and its going to roast.

this is the reason i still have mine. post it seperate on ebay and hope for the best..

anodized mattoon unbeatable for the price. the strongest one available for the best price next in my opinion is any other coated basket ( hinson, PE, wiseco bleh) that has the mattoon thick backing plate and big bolt/cushion conversion pretty much any bike will have issues with any other basket avaialble depending on uses, traction, and clutch abuse by the rider.

anyone that builds arms can get you the braided lines. they are a pretty much must in my opinion for modified bikes. you can be really touchy with the rear and the fronts, they will have a much much firmer feel. most times you can one finger the fronts if needed. if you going this far on it why cheap out on the brake lines.
