  1. like it says these are the last 2 sets of v-force 2 reeds i have. one full set with NEW gaskets, and USED BUT GREAT SHAPE reeds + whats on the cages. reeds need replaced. these have the stickers and raised areas but the stickers are gone., 140 shipped in usa. out of country extra. one set same BUT with brand NEW reeds these are what i call "stealth" the sides of the raised sections are milled off and are not as noticeable what they are. will come with NEW gaskets also 180.00 shipped in USA> i dont have good pics of the stealth ones as they are still in the bike. but are in great shape i just dont know what kind of shape the actual reeds are in but will send brand new in the package reed petals.. first cash takes them paypal is fine
  2. unless your comparing SST's to other trail pipes its a lil off. gold series stink, fatty's not to bad SST very similar power to fatty but stronger overall and more overrev than fatty. one of the funnest bikes i had was running a heavy ported 350cc stocker on alky with override, undercover lockup and fmf sst center mount.. peeps would see the pipes and think for sure it was a turd.
  3. cord? the SLP's went witht he complete bike we built ( damnit!)
  4. i have another set here as well that i think are in better shape overall i will dig them out on wensday and see what they are like.
  5. or t6... t6 and slp's are similar powerband.. BUT the slp's seem stronger overall.. that being said most HATE t6 pipes because of the brick wall effect around 9100-9500 rpm pretty much the same as the SLP. i put these on a 400 pv trex and they are a BLAST to ride around on. the motor makes tq and the pipes help it happen.. as i have said time and time again pipes will yield a 1500-2500rpm boost. where in the rpm range that boost happens and how strong it is is the result in the design.
  6. DAMn i KNEW i was missing something!
  7. check shift shaft, alignment pin and star. then verify the clutch is adjusted right,. most likel;y you will need to replace the shift shaft, pin, and do some modifications to the shaft and the star. the shaft and alignment pin are high wear items and depending on ride time will need replaced every 1 -3 years. if even after doing all this it still has a problem ( and it will) you should consider a complete transmission overhaul, modification. the stock modified trans is one of the best modifications you can do. lots of shops do this and some do it wrong or very incomplete. to be done correctley it has to be completely disasembled. and unfortunatley most times you will find other things that need to be done as well...
  8. wow!! they may be sold local. i will know on monday the 8th
  9. i would rather have a 3 cyl injected turbo/ or supercharged 2 stroke over the apex anyday.. similar power but i'm positive the 2 stroke would take the abuse much better.. its proven time and time again in the snomo world.. i also thought about the esr 300cc yz250 engine. BUT the ktm seems like it MIGHT be better overall. i personally grew up on a 250r i loved it but i will never own another one. way to much $$$ if you hurt it bad. and if your riding it harder than a grandma sunday driver its going to break. and after having the outlaw i already know what the absolute best of the atv world is as far as a rider bike.. i really feel the ktm/yfz would make me happy as far as wanting a single 2 stroke performance quad.. i personally really like the skinny lighter feel of the yfz, trx, ltr chassis. if i could find the ltr chassis for a reasonable price and then use ktm 380 that would be killer..
  10. your arms and $350.00 i'll get you a new set
  11. great shape sitting most of the time. clearing out some extra parts. will send the extra spare reeds petals i have for them 125.00 shipped 48 state
  12. this ktm talk is kinda funny to me... considering i have a spare yfz450 chassis and found a 99 ktm 380 mx bike in pieces. after deciding it needed way to much to get back running i parted it out. NOW i am highly considering using the exc 300 engine.. after looking and reading about all the differnt 2 stroke 250cc+ engines and considering the vibration issues or rubber mounting with a big bore.. i decided the 300-380 ktm is one of the best ways to go. the powervalve setup in the 380 was really amazing. it closed the triples AND lowerd the exhaust port height at low rpm's no wonder it has bad ass low end and a screaming top end.. for those that dont understand what that means the engine has a higher compression ratio at lower rpms and then loosesn up and the triples add a ton of port area at higher rpm's. the ktm 300 in stock form is around 52-55 hp.. i wouldnt build a sphynx or really any 250r based lower end just because of the loss of available parts. there is a nice aftermarket there for them but the KTM engines are really appealing to me. they have BIG transmisison gears, nice big modern clutch basket, and even roller bearing transmission gears thats fucking bad ass.. i did consider big bore motors for a little while. BUT kx500 would have been what i would use but i cannot find one thats in good enough shape to run and i dont really want to have to buy a complete bike in really good shape to get the motor... cr500 well i already have one of those and to get it to run good wasnt that hard. parts are pretty cheap overall BUT i want a revver like the old r's were without the clutch issues, transmisison, shift fork, and case expense the suzuki lt500's 250's bla bla bla were ok BUT they did use really shitty alluminum and steel. hell some of the dirt bikes were plagued with foot pegs breaking off etc.. speaking of the UTV area imagine a artic cat or BPR 1200cc triple or 4 cyl 2 smoke turbo factory in a SXS..... with BPR releasing the turbo maverick its just going to get more extreme.. utv's are fun but its no atv..
  13. hone out the swingarm
  14. need everything prefer the 08 down style BUT the 09 injected mx version is fine too.. a-arms, shocks, brakes, hubs spindles bolts bla bla bla thinking about updating a tecate 3-4 wheel conversion... all stock is fine
  15. no reason they wouldnt work.. i believe a certain pipe builder does exactilly that. the wang cranks are to factory specs as far as bearings, rod bearings sizes are concerned..
  16. dude i'll take the patch on the back of the seat paypal ready!!!

i can always hope for the best ha ha
  18. just a thought.. Q: ARE TWO-STROKES OBSOLETE? A: What would you say if we wanted to sell you a bike that weighed 20 pounds more, was 20 percent more expensive, had lots of extra moving parts, couldn’t be repaired without an ohmmeter, and made less power per cubic centimeter? Interested in that bike? Sure you are?because most likely you have a modern four-stroke sitting in your garage.

  21. fell through BACK UP FOR GRABS!
  22. its what plants crave!!! BRANDO hahahahha
  23. air leaks. retards not putting oil in the fuel. letting your "bro" take it down the road and he revvs it out in 3rd for a top speed run homie no maintenance. "there is an air filter?? yo have to change the oil? running way to long on bad parts. "you mean the pistons need changed? but its only 5 years old it still pull starts, i think it just needs tuned." using atf. using 30 WT oil for premix. using walmart 5-30 for lower end oil and/or air filter oil ... if it starts making weird noises just keep riding brah! letting your 4 stroke friends ride your drag bike and fall off. and yes i have seen all of this amongst lots of other things
