sorry about your loss....

i'd like to get another set to play with more. my intial feeling is they are a hoped up CPI if you like the cpi's power band these are similar but much much stronger. probably make a bad rider seem better also. much more forgiving on the launch and under rev. if the rider is prone to overrev the motor it will show for sure.

gas: walmart super techniplate TCW3 certified. alky: supertechniplate. on alky my PV's would stick bad if i ran 927 switched to techni and everything is cool..

i prefer the afm whenever possible. they are also easier to case match than paper.. also on the base gasket they are less prone to have a failure. the OEM base gasket is reinforced as is a bunch of aftermarket gaskets. i know, tusk is and athena, the afm also removes much easier and wont stick and rip like the paper gaskets. wonder if cometic would make a clutch cover gasket out of that stuff hmmmm

pwm's are the more modern design i dont think they come in to many sizes tho but i'm not sure. i have only dealt with them on dirt bikes. a few DB's come with them stock. ever consider'd lectrons?

use a pick. after its in push the end to make sure it seated. it is very hard to explain the correct way to do it.. a video would be worth a thousand words. if i had a decent camera i'd make one..

my 535 and my 485 have very similar domes one head is a RK tech (10 mill) and the other is a custom cut one piece head ~ 485. both have smaller squish bands as i have stated. if you reassemble it with the same domes its going to blow up. guess i cannot say it enough. trinity why dont you guys put one of these back together and make about 20 runs back to back and see what happens. come on guys this one simple motor issue is causing you all kinds of greef. why not spend a day and fix the issue.

wow that factory manual looks like crap!! thats weird.. i have used factory manuals a lot on the 4 strokes ( 700 rappy, yfz 450, and honda 450 and suzuki 400 and kawasaki 700) they are kinda difficult to understand if your not used to them they have excellent parts diagrams and show exactilly where and what kind of locker, lube, and tq on any given bolt nut or hardware. the electrical diag section is very nice. i do prefer my haynes for the banshee. i have never had a factory man for the banshee itself. even then there are a lot of tricks that are not in any manual at all

2011 BansheeHQ Ride - Little Sahara, OK
camatv replied to locogato11283's topic in Riding and Events Forum
ok most "significant others" i feel fall into 3 catagories.. 1. the "new" girlfriend that your trying to impress by going to the hot, sandy, dirty, smelly, funky, dunes, she has nothing to ride and has nver been on the dunes at all and does nothing but get stuck and bitch and wine all the time, THEN she flips out after about 1 day and wants to go home, then makes it her mission to destroy any fun you will ever have at the dunes so you yell at her and she walks off and bangs everyone from michigan.. 2. the girlfriend that you have been seeing for a while that you do the same as numero uno BUT she actually has rode before or dated some MX flatbiller already so at least understands the whole dirt sand stink thing. BUT gets in fights with every other girl there or selects a few "bitches" to gang up on other girls that ride to sneer at and make fun of. then gets drunk and passes out then everyone from michigan comes over and cop's a feel 3. the girlfriend OR wife that actually has a banshee understands them and can go off and ride BY THEMSELVES and not get stuck, get screwed or get lost ( for the most part) these chicks understand the whole hot dirty stinky thing adn know where the showers are, and have a pocket full of money to do what they want. they usually dont bitch dont cause any major problems , and can get along just fine out there and either races or drives the "support vehicle" for her man and understands the whole "dune vacation" thing she is also the one that shows where girl #2 is passed out to the michigan boys so they can cop a feel. and points girl #1 out to them so they can find her in their druken stupor SO in retro spect if you have girl numero 1 or girl numero 2 leave them bitches at home!! -
ok my turn like this?

Streamline hydraulic clutch - hard pull?
camatv replied to xander450's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
oh i'm sorry i would have just assumed that since you had pieced together some crap and then had a problem that maybe the issue was with the part that was not designed buy the company that had origianlly designed the entire clutch set up to work as they had intended, i mean surely "they" people at streamline would have had all those hydralic relations and formulas figured out and that maybe why they had sold the hydralic clutch assembled and matched as a set. i guess i am a lot wrong to think that if i really felt i needed something like hydraulic clutch that i might actually trust the company to supply me with a "kit" that they had spent untold $$$ to research and develop over a period of time that i wouldnt have to bother with all the $$$$ and hassel of trying to get somethign else to work that wasnt right... or maybe evena simple phone call to t he company to ask what the relationship was of the larger master cylinder you had to the smaller slave cylinder that you purchased.. i guess i'm just wrong in thinking that beating your head against the wall because you mismatched stuff is a lil insane -
if you want to try a set we can put mine on there tanner. i bet the RDZ's will be really close in performance. they are a top end pipe. then if you like them you can try and work out a deal on these? thought racers edge was still in business? they just sold the stamping to k+t.? maybe i was told wrong. oh well either way they do run great!

Streamline hydraulic clutch - hard pull?
camatv replied to xander450's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
if you didnt buy the "kit" as it was intended and now your not happy. hmmmm hyd clutches pull about the same as a cable they just auto adjust if set up right. -
yea cause piecing and riggin never comes back to bite ya ever.. sell it and buy a matched set. preferably already closely jetted and with the correct cable.

k&t drag ported 4 mil with rdz inframes 35 pwk jetting?
camatv replied to 340scamp's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
if its fat lean it down start with a handfull of pilots, and go from there. i'd buy 40, 42, 45 and 38's i have ended up in that entire range on differnt builds. try the 42 and 45 first. then go make passes and set up the main. -
good luck.. i'd start at 55 pilot, and 175 main. start it up and go from there.
