  7. depends on the porter.. cub timings on a 4 mill are 198* and 130ish transfers. those are high numbers for a "rider bike" but overall are a lot of fun. there is some that you can do to the intake and if the cylinder is right out the box installed it can be cleaned up and flashing clear'd and ports smoothed. that overall would help with the power of the cylinder

    haha yea thats why it cooked the top end. they are VERY touchy as other PJ's need turned about 1/2 to 1/4 turn these are in small increments.. you start about 3- 3 1/2 turns OUT and then go in a lil at a time not more than about a 1/4 of a turn. then when they are close and its running right you can fine tune but its very small amounts.. they aren't hard to use but they have their quirks. i didnt really notice much differnce from the dual feed packards and these.. i can take a pic of my 44's with the DMR's installed corectley.. OR you can visit dave's site and there is an install pic on a set of kehiens on the lectrons the barbs are in a kinda bad spot and you have to relieve the back of the carb a lil to get them turned right the flats point kinda to the left or the right of the carb but at an angle towards the intake.. the air flows over the rounded part and across the pj's and thats what causes the shiphon to start. OR you can just sell them to me and i can redo them and put them on my 350cc cub....? i dont know why but the page on dave's site that shows how they need clocked is not there anymore..

    Those are DMR POWERJETS they are not in right how much do you want for them and what needles do they have.. the holes do not face the motor those need turned around if they are ran like that there is a posibilty of cooking an engine from to lean on top. i dont know if they will siphon right or even at all like that.
  10. yes put stock pilots back in. is the crossover tube inplace. idle set the same adn synched right?
  11. those nerfs were made just for this frame. they are not propegs they are 1999-2000 design. the frame is an y2k if your talkin to me..
  12. put in 300's and then try 310's check your gap, check your ignition try NEW plugs. not the same old ones your bike fouled out 15 mins ago.. if it has an outerware TAKE it off and see if it improves..
  13. its a goofy way to get a shitty ass old carb to work better. there is a reason the round slide carbs disapeared from existance except on yamaha's atv back in the early 80's// i fyou never ever ever ever plan to get rid of the stock carbs they might be a nice improvement to throttle response but i doubt 5hp more??
  14. put the 25's back in and try that also get some 27.5's if the air screw is all the way in to run you got big problems. but i'm sure you know that.. weird that it wouldnt start even with the choke on. sometimes they do screwey stuff did you take the TORRS off? is the lil box under the tank unpluged, removed, and ran over with a large truck?
  15. t-6 makes a shit ton of midrange and cyls can be ported to work excellent with them. they are a bad ass trail tight woods technical riding pipe. wont rev fo do do tho
  16. the quietest pipes i EVER had were fmf SST's with fresh packing.. couldnt even hear it run hardly
  17. ditch the resistor plugs, gap down to about .22 take the filter OFF and see if it runs ok. is the gap on the stator right?
  18. i powerwash every bike before i work on it.. anymore i wont even let those dirty oily things in the dang door till they are clean
