  1. i glued some beer cans on the sides of my stockers i think those look better.
  2. HA sell them to your friend best thing i can tell you with them is put them on dry dry dry after a lil while the fuel will start to seep through them and they will blow out at least thats what has happend when i tried them a long time ago.
  3. they are cheap paper. id steer clear of them.. even TUSK top end gaskets are a metal based material. and they are like 16 bucks

  7. this thread is AWESOME!! better take some vids or it didnt happen!. and yes its best to use 2 gaskets and then you should take a squish clearance check. the port timings on a spacer'd plated shee puts the transfers up really high and makes the exhaust pretty high as well with NO porting they work ok the proper setup with dome cuts work better in the long run.. now a 110 rod and 115 rod would make a diff in what to use also..

  10. i just want to add.. snipers fit better, and have more grunt power than the CPI.. the shears still have more overrev. BUT if you liked the way a CPI feels you will love a sniper..

  19. here is my opinion. rec racers ( i believe this is you) +3+1 forward a-arms ( you can keep the stock offset fronts and it will turn nicer) -1 round carrier swingarm this makes them more stable in the air you basically moved the motor back 1 inch and leveled out the nose heavy banshee. ANY +4 axle i'd rather have a nice used LSR than any other BUT a g force will be ok. WORKS front shocks with ressy there are 5/8 shaft fronts out there and maybe even find some black widows or dual line ressy shocks. OR any after market front just plan on having them rebuilt and honestly a rebuild may cost the same as a set of new ones SO watch it! another thing that peeps arent sayibng is the motor if the motor hits really hard tha will wear you out faster than anything.. also BARS! the GEO of te bars, pegs, etc goes a LONG way in comfort if you can hack it a decent anti vib stem and a set of KX high bars is a good combo stay away from those retarded "atv" bends with a shit ton of pull back. that makes a lot of strain on your wrists and can hurt you if you of camber land a jump then TRAINING!! YES mx is a WORKOUT you are going to be sore and your gonna hurt but if you keep with it you will notice you will get stronger.. i do whole heartly also agree with the 450 statement. a nicely built average 450 will flat out stomp a banshee with the same rider mostly from modern ergo's and a motor that dosnet wear you out as bad. the OUTLAW is a bad ass MX bike but as stated is gonna cost you out the ass to get one,. OR you can do this!!
  20. cable is probably routed wrong.. start the bike at idle move the bars lock to lock and see if it revs at all
  21. yup that plug chop will be good for that day at that particular time.. if you run long ass dirt roads or have a tendency to ride in the overrev and never shift go a lil richer.. if you want max hp and can tell if its geting a lil hot internally go to the 290 or 280 if it will do it the recomneded jet is probably with the stock air filter and full box with lid and /or snorkel
  22. changing pipes because you dont use 2 gears?? where is the thinking on this one.. i dune all the time my drag bikes i get to 5th sometimes. in the trails i hardly ever see 5th let alone 6th gear. even on the dunes i almost NEVER even make it into that gear/
