  2. every builder does it differnt and calls it differnt.. a lot of them put out nearly drag port cyls and call them "dune port" people for some reason like to say oh man its just a dune port and there is more in it.. my idear of a MX port is pretty involved. infact it to me takes more than a usual "dune port." a TT port would depend on the track style.. short track would take a diff set up then a long track, diff domes, jetting, porting and even pipe choice.. ( at least to me) dunes and drag is easy. make it get out of the hole OK and RIP on top. most dune ports would fatigue a rider a LOT and to be used well in MX applications would take a very strong rider..

  4. pt's have bottom cause they have NO top end just kinda lug around.. stock pipes have great bottom end. infact they are the best low end pipe .. hard to believe huh!! to bad they weigh a ton and look like shit.. t-6 is kick ass low end pipe ( but you said no toomeys) fmf fatty's are great and are a quiet pipe. P.C.'s are the only pipes that are close in low end that a stocker is. banshee's usually dont make ANY power till about 6500 rpm. its just the way they are its a small twin 2 stroke.. just not much power making area there at all. if you want TQ get a raptor 700

  6. 16/40 is pretty tall.. it was lean plus tall ass gearing = BYE BYE TOP END, it probably rattled so hard you could feel it in your hands before it blew up..
  7. dude just put it all together and see what ya got use vaseline or grease on the 0-rings when you put the head together to hold them in place take yoru time and make sure the bike is CLEAN before you start to ripp into it. if your having trouble holding the domes in get 2 big washers and put the plugs in loose and use the washers under the plugs to hold the domes in OR depending on the dome, you can place to domes on the head and drop it over them. try it with the jetting you have i bet you may have to bump to a 290-310 ish range BUT maybe not get new plugs when you do it also. tell that newb at the yamaha place to get bent he's a dumb ass keep running your mix the same as you have been. running more oil dosent do shit but fuck up plugs and make you go to that store and buy more oil. 32-1 is great for gas bikes. if your running down dirt roads pinned in 6th yea you may want race fuel if you take it easy and dont overheat the motor/ pipes you will probably bo fine with 20's 19's and they might deto depending on the cut in the dome. escpecially on stocker motor. yes more oil mix will lean a motor down a bit.

    you wont need GPS for LS you wont want a steel whip ( old school 1980's BS) for the sand just get the glass one with the SPRING. i wouldnt wd-40 the chain all the time it sill get sand all over it. just what you want sand STUCK to yoru chain.. that vid is AWESOME its a PERFECT example of what happens just think if he had a bike with some power.. that would have been a LOT worse.. i cannot believe it was still running at the bottom.. i'd highly SUGGEST a helmet no matter where you go. even pit cruising in the golfcart with us at least can get hairy!
  22. when the big motors come out i just go hide in the bushes and wait till they break dosent seem to take long anymore.. HA there is a lot of really good competiton in this area as far as dune drag bikes go. at the hq ride its even better!! nobody can predict who's ride will be the fastest for the whole weekend.
