  2. ha ha!! ok ok all i really have are the one side of the pipe mount on? i'm gonna work on it this weekend more hope to have the modified muffler all done and set up this weekend. i'm shooting for sandfest to "test" it at.
  3. there are some theriores with velocity vs volume in there also.. if you do read about it you MAY come across a big thread about this subject if it even still exists about a dyno run with non window'd pistons, std windows and " so called ported windows" the results were pretty interesting. again for what its worth. i just leave them alone.
  4. the cr500 radiator is actually dual row and is the same size as a stock banshee. i'm not worried about running it on a gas motor at all. it will have 2 temp gages on it for testing. on in the radiator itself and one inline on the lower hose to show me temp drop. i dont sit and idle for hours at a time. i ride like i am running from someone!! BUT i'm now gonna just get a NEW one ( cr85 i think) and make mounts for it as thats what i plan on for the real version.. well maybe money is gonna decide that one for now.. maybe a cr125 1999 radiator also.. just need one that dosent look stupid and makes the pipes not fit like do do i want to be able to sit on the tank like a yfz and actually ride it without feeling my legs burning off from pipes sticking out farther than the front wheels./. and yea i dont really care that much about this one its the "test mule" if it snaps in half i'll know what to do differnt next time.. if it holds up ok from the test motor i might throw this ole crappy 421 cub i have in it for sandfes.
  5. haha i have a set of new old school HOT RODS kits and a older hot rods crank that needs rebuilt bet i can send it to you and you can get it done before those rods show up !!
  6. check the harness for cooked wires. if all else fails try another CDI then actually TEST with a ohms TESTER the entire electrical system then check to make sure it has gas in it and its on..
  7. wear a helmet you wont hear it after that.. you could try LOOKING At the bike bet you will find somethign wrongwith it! id say chain rollers yes you need the one on the bottom for sure.. and worst case a bad trans output side bearing

  10. when the petals wear out i sell the cages and buy new ones.. i recently installed a set of v3's on my 10 mill cheeta with the 250r intakes i think it actually got slower..

  12. some motors also run good with NO holes in the pistons.... i USED to port match intakes on ported cylinders but it just lead to cracked skirts and low cyl life. so i stopped if its ablaster piston in there its got larger windows anyways..

  15. are you smoking something?? billet bowls are no where near 400 bones.. if you think they are i'll send you a set today.. a set of these with the pj's in CORECTELLY sold with a CABLE and NEW real k+n filters, outerwares for 500 shipped on ebay if you really want them gone slap them on there,and hope for the best..
  16. i have a full framed well proven 485cc cheeta that i cannot get 6500 out of.. hell brent cant seem to sell his nearly new 14mil cheeta for 7900 and its in a LSR dual a-arm chassis.. its just the way it is right now. i cannot think of ANY similar banshee i have seen bring 4k on ebay listing price and SELLING price and then even after that selling price PAID for are a LOT differnt..

  19. its all in how its built and how its tuned.. people that have problem after problem with ANY motor in a banshee is either not doing somethign right, not tuning it right and "just seein if it goes away" or driving it all wrong " gonna go to tha riva today" i cannot tell you how many banshee's come through here that are just totally rigged up or falling apart or held together with bailing wire and duct tape. i tell people that own these that they are more like a ferrari then a chevy pickup. one thing wrong and its goin to affect the whole bike. i have a couple 4 mills that are over 3 years old and these are not dyno queens these are multiple tank, heavy useage, hard riding bikes ran on the dunes. and in the trails.. proper useage, proper assembly and proper maintenance goes a LONG way

  21. its probably a 17mm or STD threaded hyme take it out and go to the local hardware store and ask someone in there with a lil red jacket on to check the thread and size for you. the BJ's tim and others sell that fit stock spindles are a 16mm stud. most hymes are 17 or 3/4" as far as any other BJ's that would fit them i dont know. you dont have to know what brand they are to take parts off.
