  1. just as a disclaimer i didnt read all the other posts. i second ALKY! IF you dont care about control then put it on the good stuff. if long rides are your thing buy a bigger tank.. my trail bike is about 85-90 hp and i love it. yea it rosters all over the place. and spins like a mad man with dirt tires on but so what. the TQ it makes down low i can put put it all dang day adn when i want to rip its there.
  2. i wouldnt buy a cheap swingarm.. id rather have a used nicely built swingarm instead of some POS that reuses the stock carrier crap. i vote also for stellar. OR any site sponsor that can get you a good arm.
  3. none of my bikes broke.! my roll start takes years and years to perfect!! plus i had to copy it from GT!
  4. wish they offerd an a-arm with a ball joint. i prefer ball joints they dont fall apart and to me they just feel better. hard to describe.

if i personally was gonna build a 10 mill id use a springloaded hinson basket with straight cut gears, i guess everything else i would do the same as a 4 mill.. so hmm yea a 10 would be about 1000 or so more comparing crank cost to basket cost.. most case trench is about 150ish. i like to build a motor that stays together and dosent grenade after a few runs. i've blown up enough stuff and tossed enough scrap steel and alluminum around inside a case. i dont really like that much at all! my pinned tz crank was 800 forged. not sure what a crank works one would be? didnt they used to redo stockers?
  6. yup i changed it maybe we should leave it at that. the 'huh where did that come' from i typed as a smart ass comment hard to convey the way things are said over a typed conversation on the net. i thought about what i said and felt that might be more of a thought just out of what you had said towards me, concerning an issue that not anyone else on this forum even knows about, and i felt was a lil bit of a low blow, more of just a chance to be an ignorant asshole towards me in general. which i dont really understand, or even view as being somewhat professional as you are in a business. i responded to your post above THEN read the "big boy panites" reply of yours and felt maybe what i said didnt belong in this thread. as i said no need to argue about something that dosent even concern anyone else even on this whole forum, but if your going to follow my posts and write lil shit comments pertaining to that what do you expect me to do? just sit in the corner and take it? , put on your big boy panties and leave well enough alone.
  7. i deleted it cause i didnt feel it was what i really ment, and i probably typed it more out of disapointment to your earlier post directed at me , and it really didnt belong in this thread, but of course it was up for about 2 mins. im not here to get into an argument with you thats all i'm gonna say. if you want to keep it alive thats up to you
  8. huh where did that come from?
  9. oh please jet the bike in the garage full throttle in neutral!!!! and take a video of it!! i love watching cranks twist and scream!
  10. modded gear fine override dont use a modified gear.
  11. its not an override. i dont call it an override it dosent even some what work like an override. the gear cuts ARE used on better overrides. this modification has been around for a long time. as i said its the true "fix" the the bad shifting trans. no other bs is needed. its simple you cut every other dog off the gears with 6 dogs. the engaement gears have 3 dogs on them. the extra dogs clash and will send the trans into a false neutral. also after heating up some the trans slop is more evedent and with the extra gears they can get a lil misaligned adn are more prone to stick on the shaft.. if you are a serious rider and i mean you do more then put the kids around in the yard this is a must do modification if the cases are apart.
  12. are you drunk again heathen!!
  13. i think they would add a good amount of low end hit. i dont have a set to try out on a larger port motor like the shear seems to prefer.. i DO have a set of shear inframes and some CPI inframes. every pipe has its quirks..
  14. t 6's with the RIGHT porting will rip your arms out ( but yea they wont rev for shit) shear, CPI's are great pipes.. BUT dont forget about SNIPERS...
  15. it out of a street bike probably r-1 or r-6 or similar..
  16. i pm'd back.
  17. i need a base plate spacer for a long rod or 4 mill motor i need one to use on a LR 365 i'm trying to piece together for a spare motor thanks!

if i could build a reliable 10 mill for 300 bucks differnce i'd have more than one. the clutch setup in my 535 i ended up using that lasted more than one trip, was 600 bones alone.. i havent tried a matton basket on something with that kinda low end capacity but i think they would hold up ok
  19. cool head as in it looks cool thats a great analagy! wonder how many "mods" my outlaw has?
  20. what did that master tech stuff tell you about the cranks? there is a nice write up starting on this very subject..
  21. got the pipe mounts done then ran out of TIG gas!!! dangit!
  22. you need to run resistor plugs and caps with a dyna ignition. your also lean on top the "surge is from lean condition.
  23. welp they arent a site sponsor that i know of.. whats the feedback score on easybay.
