look, youre alright and all but this is bogus fucking info. if you dont know what youre talking about then please, keep it to yourself. that said, the clutch arm and the mark on the cases is NOT always right. mine dont line up like the manual says they should. does your clutch lever have any free play in it? if not, and you cant get any free play by adjusting it on the clutch perch, your pancake bearing(if you have one) is not adjusted properly. forget about the clutch arm and the marks on the case. i always set the pancake bearing adjustment about halfway and install the pressure plate. then before i put it back together i make sure its got adjustment both ways on the clutch perch. it sounds like you need to pull the clutch cover and adjust your push rod adjuster.

dude what more opinion do you need? i think pretty much everyone in this thread said to go with the +6. from duners to draggers, 350 motors to big twister motors.. everyone has said +6.

i just cant see running 32:1 with any oil, especially yamalube. isnt 32:1 the recommended ratio by yamalube? thats a lot of fucking oil to be putting in the cylinders. as far as spending more for a "top shelf" oil, thats not really true. yamalube and klotz 32 ounce bottles are 8.99 and 10.99 respectively. by the time you dump that recommended 32:1 yamalube in your bike, you couldve bought the klotz and run it at 50:1. there is absolutely a difference in oils or youd see every drag racer, mxer, hillclimber etc running yamajunk.

Help Relocating CDI and Coolant bottle?
locogato11283 replied to laketappsbanshee's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
its supposed to suck in coolant apparently when the radiator becomes low, but im not convinced the damn thing works like that. in all reality, if your radiator is low or losing coolant you have a more serious problem. ditching the bottle cleans up the bike and sheds some weight. -
go with the chariot timing plate. its a really nice piece for the money and chariot is a site sponsor here on HQ. there is a link to their ebay store in the sponsor section. if you click on the BHQ Sponsors banner up top itll take you there. as far as the hillclimbing, 2nd is your best bet unless youre hauling ass through the trails and come up on a hill. a lot also depends on gearing. if youre stock, i would recommend 2nd gear.

klotz at 50:1. yamalube really is junk oil. id stay away from it.

***FOR SALE SECTION WARNING***
locogato11283 replied to locogato11283's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
i think the main thing here is to demand pictures at every step of the process. if you buy something without seeing detailed pics of it first with the current date next to it, its your own damn fault. -
if someone wants it they will get it. i suggest making it very hard for them to get it. make it so that whatever they do will cause a lot of noise to get it out. use a couple chains, front and back with two locking points on each. wrap the chains through the frame rails a few times. . lock up the rear disk.

***FOR SALE SECTION WARNING***
locogato11283 replied to locogato11283's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
i just want to make it clear that i dont care how you guys do business, other than honestly. you can pay and sell things how you want, just remember its your name on the line. im just trying to give a few things i feel would help the transaction. i still say for large money purchases to use a builder. everyone always spends a dollar to save a a quarter. -

the reason i say use a money order is just for security for me. lets say you had to involve the law in something. it seems to me that itd be easier to have proof of payment by having the receipt for the money order and because they have to deposit it in their account. i know that paypal gives you a receipt and all that but sometimes i feel like transactions over the internet arent viewed as legit. -
There have been some bad deals been going down here lately on BansheeHQ. The main issue seems to be that sellers are not advertising their parts correctly. I have put together a list of things to look at for both the buyers and sellers. Buyers 1. Get pictures of the parts. 2. Get pictures of the parts packaged up. 3. Get detailed descriptions of the condition of the parts. 4. Only use a Money Order to buy parts. 5. DO NOT send large amounts of money for parts. 6. Check feedback for sellers. 7. If something seems weird, it is probably best to walk away from the deal. 8. Buy insurance for expensive items. Sellers 1. Accurately describe your parts. 2. If you're unsure of the size and condition of a motor, you had better find someone who can identify it before you post it up. 3. Send pictures of the parts. 4. Send pictures of the parts once packaged. 5. Provide a tracking number. 6. Offer insurance to the buyer. These are just a few things to keep in mind when using the For Sale section. BansheeHQ is in no way responsible for any deals gone bad. I always try to remedy them to the best of my ability. I do not want bad sellers on BansheeHQ. If I find that a seller has acted inappropriately or sends an item that was not described correctly, I may find it necessary to ban them. Everyone needs to use common sense when using the For Sale section. Don't be stupid. Use your head.
