I'm planning on doing a frame up project so I'd like to see whats out there these days. Its been 5 years since I've owned a Banshee so I'm sure lots has changed. I unfortunately cannot walk into a parts shop and look around so viewing online catalogs is what I am limited to.
Did that. Not much selection if any. I visited every single sponsors site before posting my question. M&M probably had the best selection but even then it was very limited.
Hey guys just wondering what websites are out there with a solid selection of parts. I had my Banshee stolen a few years back so I've been out of the game for awhile. I live in Hawai'i so there isn't much of anything at the local bike shops. Thanks for any help.
I'm actually in the market for what you're trying to sell. I sent you a PM. Lets try and work something out before you powdercoat it. I've got cash in hand if you're serious.
Hey guys I'm looking for someone with a rolling chassis with title. I would hope the frame itself would be free of any defects. I'm trying to start all over again as my 95 was stolen right out of a shop and the owner left me high and dry. Unless you're located in Southern California I will need it to be shipped. Please let me know. Thanks guys.
PM sent. I'd like to pick this up from you but it would require shipping it. I understand your time is important so lets work out a total figure. I can send payment via Paypal, M.O., Western Union or an old fashioned check. Please get back to me.
Im trying to piece back my Banshee that was stolen. Stupid jerks stole the rear shock plus the linkage. Im also looking for a stock front bumper, stock rear grab bar and some half decent pipes. Please post if you have any of this and the price you are asking. Thanks.
Guys how would I go about running a vin# to make sure its a clean bike and not stolen? My older neighbor has a bare frame and is not quite sure where it came from but its mine if I just take it. Before I even get involved I want to make sure its not stolen. If it comes back stolen how would I go about contacting the original owner to make things right and obtain a pink slip to it? In California we have to register off road bikes. Thanks guys.
I honestly dont know. Im not very mechanically inclined but thats whats wrong with it and the only thing I can point to is a lack of oil unless my idiot friend rode it like crap.
Well boys I had a bit of bad luck over the weekend. I failed to check the oil level on my Banshee before riding and sure enough its seized. When I was towing it back to camp you can hear the thing squeal so loud. I can push the kick start all the way down with my hand so theres definitely no compression. I know its a whole rebuild of bottom and top end but I dont know the extent yet. I work at a dealership so at least I can get the parts at a fair price. My question for you is should I order stock or aftermarket parts? If aftermarket what brands? And since we'll have it all apart should I mod anything? Thanks guys.
