  2. Seriously thinking of going. I’m not on FB. Hopefully some more members will attend
  3. give a full report . I’m considering driving down in September
  4. Man I wish more people would go to this. I’d drive down from Alberta
  5. No idea. JD ran a 200w aftermarket stator in his old bike that lasted. Procon I think is what it was called. Might be an option for you.
  6. Semi hand coned is what you want to see. Made by PowerPros. They will be nice pipes

    A Arm help

    LSR DC Pro or Fireball
  8. Stock cranks are awesome. Have it welded and looked over and run stock.
  9. If I remember right they are PowerPros and I think the same as CT racing and another pipe maker from way back. If they are power pros they will be mid/top end pipe. If they have the coned section they most likely are power pro made and I would snap them up
  10. Hot knife.
  11. Pull off your filters so you can see you slides and work the throttle to see if your slides/cable is sticking. Check your cable route and make sure it’s slack. im heading out of town, good luck with your problem. Sure others here will help
  12. New plugs, bring to wide open, kill the engine and read the plugs. Donit at night when temp down
  13. Hmm, well the first thing I’m worried about is with the temp change colder and the fact that you melted it already, is that your getting a lean condition. Did you do a plug chop? also, is the throttle cable sticking? You can clean them up. They can stick I’d the cable isn’t routed through the space on the bottom of the tank and they can get hung up on the lever end of the carb end above adjustment nuts. you should plug chop and leak test again to make sure your not lean anywhere. Check your carb cable for sticky spots, and maybe up the mains and try it again at night and see if that makes a difference. whats everyone else think?
  14. You may have to take it to a machine shop if it’s too badly damaged. At least you know the problem.
  15. You said 200. Anyway drop your main like mentioned earlier
  16. Have a look at the jetting thread and find someone that has a similar set up and compare jetting
  17. Your mains are small. Pilots are right size though
  18. How much money do you have? alba a arms and better shocks would be my pic. Then have a good shop port your engine and youll be amazed at the power difference
  19. Your on it! Next time I have a vendor problem I’m calling you
  20. well if your engine has no leak and your not lean and your carbs are synched, put it together and run it. Make sure you plug chop it just after it’s running to make sure it’s not lean. possibly you had a untorqued head causing an air leak. Whats everyone else think?
  21. Ok synch your carbs now. You have two different plug readings. Check your jet sizes make sure they match and air flow your carbs. The tool is worth the $35. You can also use SouthTexasbwebsite he shows how to do it
  22. Good stuff
  23. Not a Ricky’s I thought JD sold Procon or something named similar? No idea but I always figured if that brand worked for him I would considering buying instead of paying OEM $$$
