  1. What's done to your motor? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  2. Tedder, I sent you a pm, got a notification you responded, but Tapatalk shows I have no messages doesn't even show my sent message, are you on the HQ Fb and k could find you there? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  3. I don't mind building a new bike, it's just that for quite a while it would be a basically stock motor other than mods I could myself, I know some stuff about overrides, but what all actually goes into it? Is it something I'd be able to manage myself or need a shop to do? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  4. Mainly was worried because I had heard a few things about guys not getting enough flow and melting the motor down Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  5. Also, would it be in my best interest to switch to a dual pingle? Running a standard OEM petcock currently and just replaced it so not too crazy about the idea of changing it again [emoji23] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  6. Not looking to be crazy competitive, just be able to still go out to the track and have a good time with my buddies while I rebuild my ranchero. No other qauds run out here so I'm not too worried about getting my as sbeat, just run some test and tune and see if maybe they'd just let me run in motorcycle bracket class or try and build interest and get more qauds out there. For 1/4 mile I'll probably need to change my gearing yeah? If interest starts to build up out there then I'll probably pick up another bike to be a dedicated drag bike Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  7. Alright guys, been riding qauds for years, started racing at the track in my ranchero and my pick up about 2 years ago. Over here (southern Oregon) you never see qauds out running at the track (1 day a year). I recently picked up another banshee and I'm thinking about setting it up to run 1/4 mile here at my local track just to be different and have a good time. Bike is a duner and most of my riding is out in the Oregon dunes. It's a stock cyl ported 4 mill on race gas with a +4 swinger on the back, vforce 3, fmf turbinecore pipes, 34mm pj's. I'd like to keep running the bike as my main duner, so would it work out okay if I just picked up a set of tires for all the way around and changed gearing to run at the track? Or would I be better off picking up a different bike and starting from scratch? Thanks for your input y'all, I can do all the Fab work and motor work myself if I set up a new bike as well. 8. Redline, my shit seems to like it the most, definitely likes redline more than it liked yamalube Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  9. From what I've heard t6's are more of a mid range pipe, personally I think it sound like your mains are really big but I'm not sure because my stuff has big carbs, if it was breaking up and falling on its face at high rpm, check your plug caps, the caps will unthread off the plug wires and then you can test them with an ohm meter, anywhere from 4.5-5 is good, if they come in any lower I'd replace them, mine was seriously falling on its face at high rpm, caps tested bad, replaced them and it runs like a top Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  10. You'd be surprised the power you get out of just pipes, you may not need to go 4 mill right off the bat and instead just do a nice set of pipes, and ported and polished. I agree suspension is a great place to start, having a fast bike is no good if it hurts you to ride it. On a final note, welcome to the HQ, as long as you can handle the occasion a$$hole, you'll be fine. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  11. I'm down in eagle point about 30 minutes from Medford Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah he only ever rode Oregon dunes with it, bikes never saw dirt, he has the pair since new in 98. I'll get a tester on it and see what the results look like Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  13. Also, riding at sea level at Oregon dunes, and occasionally mountains where I live which is ~1400 ft Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  14. Hey all, just picked up another banshee, well, 2... One of them is a 4 mill with a dune port, he said he thinks it's 18cc domes(built the motor like 10 years ago) has 34mm keihin carbs, pro design coolhead,he ran a mix 50/50 110race fuel and 92 pump gas, we are wanting to run the bike on just pump gas, do we need to change up the dome size? Do we need to check compression in order to know if we need to change size? He said he's run it on straight pump gas before and that it seems to run fine just not as much power, thanks everyone, and a pic of the bikes for attention! The yellow is the 4 mill, blue bike is stock other than pipes and a boost bottle[emoji23] still has tors and all, it was his wife's bike. Also, what's the value on a set of blue fullbores in like brand new shape? They're flawless Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah Cascade finally called back and mentioned the different size on the other end, I realized I'm a retard and it's been a long day[emoji23] installed and good now thanks y'all Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
