  3. Congratulations, Leakdown test. Youtube videos showing how to do this. Also a tutorial on here that shows you how to make a tester. clean carbs and jets. Sync carbs, again youtube. You will need to purchase this tool. A stock banshee should be around 125psi on compression. All banshee's forsale have a fresh topend or so they say, some actually do I guess.
  4. You might want to start you own thread since the last post before yours is over four years old
  5. There's a service manual on here that can be downloaded. You are going to need it or a Clymers. The push rod and ball come out clutch side of motor(right). You have to pull clutch cover to get to pressure plate. Ezzzy
  6. Looks good, now do a leakdown test on motor and if it passes move on to compression test. The leakdown test is critical! Are you familiar with a banshee? welcome to BHQ
  7. You might want to look at Vito's super stock pistons

  10. You need a gasket between reed cage and cylinder.(both cylinders) Then you need a gasket between reed cage and intake(both)
  11. I like the list, but in my opinion the banshee is a stand alone quad. although that 400ex is not a speedster, I would put it as the most reliable/dependable quad ever. You can beat on them all day, put away and beat on it the next day and the next and the next..........
  12. This^^^ and make sure pilot jets are clean, sync carbs.Where are air screws at? Welcome to BHQ
  13. I think that one went right over your head.

  16. He sold me some tires and wheels. The wheels were nice, but the tires had half of the knobby's cut off. He did ship very fast though.
  17. I don"t see why not, should be able to burn one then go ride...............in Colorado
  18. Did you do a leakdown test on rebuilt motor? Either way you need to do this next.
  19. Are you going to bore and go with new pistons? Add another 300
  20. Might need to do a compression check. They can be hard to cold start when compression gets low.
