  1. I want to rip the P Brake off my Shee too, anyone got really good instructions?
  2. I bought a chemically resistant squirt bottle, found it at the local hardware store, and filled it with the same premix I dump in my tank. Take out the plugs and squirt a really little bit into the cylinders, put the plugs back in and kick it over.
  3. Since they were your spare, were they ever installed? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Miss riding season? The builders have that bad of a turnover? Instead of cutting the head could I just get a cool head and swap domes? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. What would +4 timing and port work do to compression? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. What does the head work include? What kinda gains would I see from that? I really want to stay away from adjusting timing, is that foolish of me? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I mostly ride open trails/dirt roads. No dunes or anything. I would like to keep the budget around a grand 1500 max
  8. Long story short banshee lost compression back in fall. Planning on waiting for the weather to get warmer (Minnesota winters are a bitch) to start wrenching on it. Thinking about all the possible options for mods brings rise to multiple questions. Banshee is completely stock keep in mind. First for the top end. I have been considering either bringing my cylinders into a local place close to home, or sending them off to a place like Herr Jugs. Is porting going to be very effective with such a stock motor? Should I just look at a clean up bore? Like mentioned earlier its completely stock. As for bolt-ons I was thinking pipes and silencers (FMF Gnarlys), TORS removal, Vforce V4s, KnN pods and possibly cool head. Should I add or leave things out? Any things that wouldn't work well with the others? Things to take into consideration?
  9. Thanks a bunch man ^^^^ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. So advancing the timing does or does not play into what size domes are required?
  11. Will advancing the timing affect the compression?
  12. Bringing this post back from the dead but Carbine what do you mean by that part? Does that refer to changing the timing as in "+4"?
  13. Jetting and carbs are all stock. I'm wondering if something is possibly out of tune with the carbs but I have never changed anything on them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yes the choke tube was installed and the compression is at 110psi both sides Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
