  1. Damn, is there going to be any place to stay down there this weekend?
  2. Im finally going to make a BHQ ride. I mean its only been 10 years..... Jesus. Where do you all stay? I dont even know where to go, once I get down there.
  3. Ok, I assume the packing has been missing for awhile. Gotta confess, I haven't repacked in probably 5 or 6 years. Im sure the lack of it caused the cores to just get all kinds of stress on them. I will probably try and weld them up then. Thanks guys!
  4. So this is probably a stupid questions, but I just dont wanna waste time and screw something up. I noticed that when I really wind the motor up, it just falls on its face at high rpm. So I thought, well I guess I will rejet, even though my jetting has always been pretty spot on and I have changed nothing. So I checked this and that. Well I took the pipes off, and heard a terrible rattle like something was broken. Well the core just flops about. And it comes out of line from the pipe tube itself, so I would assume my exhaust is flowing very poorly. Anyway, obviously the silencers need to be repacked, but is there anything else I need to do? Is it just packing that keeps the cores in place or is somthing broken? The pipes are Toomey T5's. Thanks
  5. I think that is what they were getting at in the article. I liked the list. I agree with how they did it.
  6. This is funny, cause my riding buddies and I used to name all of our quads. The banshee's name is "Picanshee".... Not really sure why.
  7. I mean, I see what they are getting at though. How like the blaster and lt80 paved the way to some of the youth sport quads. You are right though, probably shouldnt be there. LOL And thats true, the Cannondale was bad ass. Total game changer
  8. If you have a love for all quads, I think you will enjoy this. I know I did and for the most part I agree with the list. Banshee on top! http://www.off-road.com/atv/tech/top-10-sport-atvs-54008.html
  9. This guy is lives like 10 minutes from me.... Baddest shee around huh? Apparently he doesn't know I exist.... And that Tyler isnt far away either.
  10. Already flipped it without doing a damn thing. Still in boxes, got rid of it for $500! Looks like its new a arms for the shee!
  11. Right on guys. Thanks!. Part out it is. Need the money for shee parts anyways.
  12. Ok, dont yell at me. I have already posted on the Suzuki forums. But I trust my Banshee brothers knowledge over all of the other forums out there, so Im going to post here too. I have mad love and respect for all quads, especially the classics. Last weekend I came across a 85-86 Quadracer LTR250 frame with fresh powder on it in a buddy's shop. He said, he powdercoated it for a guy and he never came back to get it. Anyway, I found everything for the quad there in boxes. Even wheels and tires. Plastics in good shape. No tears in the seat. So I took it all. $100 bucks! Im pumped! The only thing it needs is a crank from what it looks like. I've thought about parting it out, and may still yet, but first I wanna see if its worth restoring cause these bikes are pretty damn cool. And I thought I could have some fun on it for awhile and then sell it. But, Im having a heck of a time finding a crank for the 85-86. Any suggestions? Or should I try something different like the 88-92 engine swap? Or should I just get bent. LOL Im very open here. Thanks!
  13. How well would the alba a arms work with YFZ hubs/spindles and YFZ shocks? Anyone tried it?
  14. That's the problem. I can't get them to answer just like when the first set was wrong.
  15. I guess that's more of my complaint. I understand things can happen when machining. Stuff happens to me all the time. But the customer service part is what pisses me off so bad.
