  1. Looking for a pair of 12" chrome fronts in decent condition.
  2. Can't help you with rebuild info. But if I remember right, it is less expensive to buy a new crank already welded and ready to go. Now this was having someone else rebuild for me.
  3. When the guy said "me banshee will kick your raptor azz"
  4. I am going to plan for this trip just like I planned for spring ride, so DAVE you may begin talking shit in 3.....2....1......
  5. About as much fun modding a banshee as riding one. Welcome
  6. I think i have cut a piece off from gas cap vent hose before.
  7. Because my gun cant walk.
  8. Cause John is too heavy to carry.
  9. Why do you carry? Becuase when I woke up this morning, I was in America. What else you got?

  11. Bought some about a year ago, no problem
  12. Also had both, more parts available for banshee, easier to work on and make power with banshee. Like said ESR sells the 250r cases. Not sure about mew transmission gears/shafts. Honda doesn't even make cdi or stators for those bikes, but cr ignition works really well without lights. Do yourself a favor and go with banshee. Thats my opinion.
  13. I think FMF recommends 30 pilot for their pipes, like trick said start with 300 main. I believe you will end up with less(280/290) so order a few different sizes
  14. One bike at a time. You really need to confirm that you have no leaks FIRST, then carry on with jetting. If you do have a leak, you will just be chasing jetting. Compression is too high for a stock crank (non welded). After reading your post, I suggest you tear motor down and see whats going on with crank, bearings, port timings, domes cc, bore size. Now me: I would check for leaks, jet properly, then let the mofo'er rip. If it blows........REBUILD. good luck and welcome.
  15. As said, check your compression. See if spark plugs are still tight. Plugs will tend to back out in dangerously lean conditions
  16. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=2&ved=0ahUKEwipoeLRhPvKAhVB9h4KHQ0ZCKIQFgglMAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.quadcrazy.com%2Fatvforum%2Fyamaha-atv-forum%2F10120-2002-yamaha-raptor-80-cam-chain.html&usg=AFQjCNF4BbzJv9haDv2mRGqQ8n11XVE6oA Maybe this helps
  17. I think Vito makes a very good crank. If you run stock stroke, then I would try the vito ss piston. I have never used them, but I understand they simulate engine porting (somewhat) more than a stock piston
