  1. What do you consider "worked great"? It couldnt have worked too damn great with the front tires leaning out about 3".
  2. This is what I was thinking. I was also thinking why the fuck did I click on this? Your legs pedal 75 rpm's so your Huffy is over driven. Your banshee spins 10,000 rpm's so it's under driven.
  3. How tall are your rear tires????? Just save up some cash. Go fast = $ And if you havent, mod your stock timing plate for 4° advance. Its the only free mod I know besides learning to ride better, more tire pressure(can hurt your take off), and cheap mods like going to a 15 front sprocket. How do you know your jetting is right? What is your jetting and elevation? Good luck
  4. Do you still have 180 on compression? You checked that after it quit running? Reeds ok? Squirt some fuel in carb and kick it. see if it starts. If it does its a fuel problem. Ive had plenty of bikes that had spark but still had ignition problems. Get the clymers and (or search for it) and check your cdi, coil, and pick up coil. Good luck
  5. He said he had no spark... tors? Parking brake? cdi? Mine did same thing once and it was the cdi. get the clymers and start ohming pick up coil, coil, cdi, etc.
  6. ^^^^^this. I was thinking sme thing. Is it a drag port set up for a stroker crank? Got to know. And when you resleeve it, your sleeves will be stock porting while cylinders are drag ported. Maybe find some stock cyls and build off them??
  7. Just spray it with carb cleaner or put some of your gas in a squiter can or whatever you have and shoot gas in it. If it starts and dies you will know its not getting fuel.

  9. Stock head or cool head? Lay a flat edge across it and make sure head is nice and level so youre not doing another head gskt in 3 hours. Get a torque wrench and get a manual on it. I cant remember what I have. Is it Clymers that has best manual?
  10. But maybe back up even more. If it's only running on one cylinder try a set of plugs. see if both sides have spark. Maybe check compression on each cylinder. Do something. Fuel, fire, compression, and in the right timed sequence will make her run. Start checking stuff and eliminate possible problems and get more info.

  13. I wouldn't do port work on cylinders that are now .060 over personally. Who is doing your porting?

  16. Me and some friends are coming but staying in a place called Deuces Wild campground. His uncle or somebody can get us a free cabin there and that's way better than dragging the fifth wheel and flatbed trailer across the state. Didn't get to meet very many of you guys last year. Will definitely come down and see you guys this time. Don't hate if I roll up on the LTR 4 poke. The banshee has bad luck and usually ends up getting towed off the dunes after the first day. Last year I blew the rear shock on the very first jump I hit and then rattled the bolts out of the front caliper. LMS I don't drink much either. We can be the DD and referee.

  19. X2 I have raced my buddy's CRF a million times. pretty evenly matched. During the bhq Little Sahara ride last year I bet we raced 20 times. I took 10 and he took 10. If you want to beat your buddy pull out the wallet, build it, then drive the absolute shit out of it. Hang it wide open spinning 10-12k revs and see what happens.

  21. Nice bike! I see some Works dual rate shocks on front too. This is the first 358 cub I can remember ever seeing around here on hq.
  22. Be careful getting banshee parts on ebay like the shocks you mentioned. no minkuia38 or whatever his name is. Maybe hit up NYUK or bansheeboie for some parts. NYUK has always been really fair to me. good luck
  23. Mine does that. I think it's the choke rubbers bc when I pull the choke while its running and warm, it doesnt hardly effect it.
  24. I like it! Besides fitting the only downfall I can think of is more leverage to bend the axle. you'd have to be getting some serious elevation and come down really crooked to bend it though. Looks good.
  25. Have you ever compared temp differences between grey and red? I've been told it's only about 50 degrees difference on max temp.
