  2. I think youre talking about where an idle screw would go so nothing should be attached. Ive read the other stuff 10 times but cant figure it out. maybe some pics and somebody could help.
  3. X2. And it sounds like you just want more top speed. That doesnt mean you need a high revving motor.
  4. Check compression on both sides. If that's ok I'd try to figure out of it's fuel problem or ??? To shoot from the hip--- Leaking intake manifold around cross over tube, right side carb dirty, reed on right side etc etc. But I would check compression first. Does it run better when you choke it or partially choke it? If so it's starving for fuel. Really need more info. Good luck

  8. You can use motor oil. search it to see all the debates. A lot of guys run ATF fluid in the crankcase.

  10. Look at the book and check RESISTANCE. Not Volts DC. Get an ohm reading and compare it to the range in book. Then look at the wiring diagram and make sure you wired everything right. The diagram will show you what should open and what should be closed (tied together).
  11. Trinity head with 20cc domes from 4 mil motor. one dome has damage from piston failure. Minor scratches on top of head as pictured. $75 shipped.

  13. Mikuni TM's? Thanks guys! I will study up since I dont know anything about powerjets. At all! Im going to be taking my cylinders to Jim at Passion in a few days and will ask him more. The carbs were on this parts bike. I have no reason to believe it was running alcohol but I have no idea. It did have 19cc domes. Is there any clues that I should look for to determine if it was alcohol? What should I ask for that head?? whats the carbs worth?? I may just sell both and go NOSS and PWK's. Thanks!!
  14. They're Mikuni carbs with power jets. All I've ever know are stock, PJ's. and PWK's. What are these??? Should I run these on my 4mil stock cylinder motor or go with PWK's? Will measure them tonight. I've also got this Trinity head with a damaged dome. Should I run it or ditch it and buy a NOSS/Chariot head? Just looking for some opinions.
  15. I'm starting a 4 mil build too and i'm pretty much doing exactly what Infamous said. What are these pistons??? Ported pistons?? New to me... I bought some virgin cylinders to have ported, cool head (no domes yet), a long rod Hot Rods 4 mil Crank, and I already have CPI's, +4 timing, VF3, and 34 PJ's. Will eventually do some 33-35 PWK's. Like he said, solid running and reliable bike.
  16. Thats a bad ass puddle to take out a crank. Why are you shooting from the hip? You said its not running on the right cylinder. It either has no spark, no fuel or no compression on right side.
  17. You pulled the top end apart?? Then you ohmed out the harness?? Ohm out the coil, cdi, etc. My money is on one of them or a spark plug boot or something simple. Confirm that there is no spark on one side THEN proceed.
  18. Ha and never buy one if the kick starter is rattling.. I haven't been on here in over 3 months and nothing has changed! Very first post I read was some dickhead comments. Missed you guys... All the info is right. My 94 is waaaaay nicer and cleaner than my 02. Year doesnt always matter. Check compression. Should be 140+ ish. I think 125 is lowest end. Check axle and swingarm bearings etc.
  19. youre going to pay 1500 for that front axle. I did the same thing but with a dana 44 high pinion driver side drop. 77-79 Ford F250 was the best. I built the 44 and a 14 bolt semi floater with 400 hp and never broke anything. I ran the same 4 speed youre talking about. I did break the coupler between trans and transfer case quite a bit if I dumped the clutch.

  22. Another one is Passion Racing Tulsa, Ok. I have talked to him a couple times. Really good guy. I would think you could ship in there for $50 ish. Usually fed ex is cheaper on larger stuff.
  23. 4mm hot rods 115 rod crank. coolhead with 19 or 20 cc domes. I agree^^^^^^ Shipping isnt too expensive. Send it to Fast, HJR or the like and let them know what you want and they will ask all the right questions and set your porting up. Dont bore unless you need to. Boring isnt for power just gets imperfections out of the cylinder walls. You will need some wiseco 795 pistons too.
