  1. Friday evening but in deuces wild park with a few buddies
  2. I put one of those on my KX 250 and it lasted LESS THAN 3 minutes. I spent hours and hours looking for an additional problem that didn't exist. It was just a piece of shit stator. I think OEM or Racetech is the way to go, but I've never had to buy one. Maybe somebody will chime in and verify.
  3. Study the wiring diagram and make sure yours is right. What kind of stator did you put on it? Ricky Stator??? Leave everything unhooked and ohm all your stuff and compare to the chiltons manual. Then I would check each power circuit to ground. you shouldn't see any low resistance ohm readings. If you see a reading that is the same or close as the same as when you just touch your meter leads together, then theres a short. But before you get that deep just check ohm readings in chiltons manual. If its a ricky stator that may just be the problem.
  4. Yeah I'd buy the 1st one even if it was a couple hundred more. Unless youre gonna MX it. But even then you coukd selll the +4 swinger and paddles. Good luck whatever you do.
  5. No. Maybe a short. Like a power wire to headlight that is grounded. Do you have a volt meter?
  6. Pics of your tank op?
  7. What kind of stator? The 200 watts shouldnt have anything to do with the regulator. Higher wattage means more power. volts X amps = watts. So unless the regulator cant handle the extra amp draw, it should be fine. Ive never heard anybody upgrade their voltage regulator. But you never even pulled a full 200 watts unless you have some crazy lighting on it.
  8. Anything is possible but not always practical. Is that an actual pic of your big wheel? One in pic looks MINT.
  9. Your T5's are a pretty decent mid pipe. Hopefully you might notice a little difference by switching. What's your jetting like?
  10. Put a new seal on shifter shaft. Buy a complete brake set up from somebody parting out a banshee in for sale section. Ride it this summer. Tear it down this winter and do whatever you want with it. There are a few guys that part out bikes. Check for sale section or hit up NYUK on here. Good luck-
  11. Got my stuff. Thanks Bump for a good guy with nice fab skills
  12. Is your port job matched to the 4 mil crank? Last time we were at little sahara I raced my friends crf 450 against my then pretty stock banshee. I could take him from a rolling start and he would catch up and barely pass at higher speeds.
  13. I don't rebuild all the time, but the ones I have, I checked and they were fine.
  14. I'll take a set of pipe hangers since it's a sale jamboree.
  15. Do a quick wide open pull and keep it up in the main jet. Then pull that plug. Then you can do a low rpm run after main jet is dialed in.
  16. I did a ported 4 mil stock cylinder and kind of wish I went serval. But the money thing got me too. Do you know what size your jugs are at right now? If you throw another $200+ at buying some virgin cylinders to port than I would just pony up the other $500 for a serval if I had it. Then sell your cylinders and head for $100 on Ebay. Now you're at $400 difference. But you also picked up the $200 head with FAST serval kit. So really only a $200 difference. BUT if you have a failure the serval is more expensive to rebuild. What other mods are on your bike?
  17. I run mine a little more rich
  18. Yep^^ You will also get enough old lady clothing in the box to use for grease rags for months.
  19. I think they were on a for sale thread a couple months back where I parted out a bike. They just weren't really worth shipping. But you're right, somebody could of cleaned them up and asked $150 or something. I'll hit you up next time I'm cleaning house.
  20. Get some pipes. I just sold some crusty FMF Fatties locally for $40. Find an idiot like me who's wife is bitching about shit all over the garage. Check Craigslist?
  21. All quads all selling cheap around here
  22. Just bc it has spark doesnt mean its right. but my guess woukd be a fuel problem since it sat for 2 yrs. Shoot some carb cleaner or gas in carbs and see if it starts then dies.
