Yamaha doesn't sell the parts individual.. They want you to buy the whole caliper... After a little research i found out the rear caliper uses the same boots as the front... i'm just going to order 3 rear kits.
What did you do here in Mi. running Rockets in the trials? I've been thinking if making a set of tips for the Rocket silencers that will accept a stainless screen.
How do you think Toms new pipes especially the BB ones are going to stack up against whats out there now? I can say from 1st hand experience the Rockets I bought from you made a WORLD of difference on my bike. I absolutly love these pipes!
That definitely was Tom.. And, all i can say for now is, what he's got cooking is going to be awesome.. Not much longer before the debut either.. I've got inside info directly from the horse's mouth.
I went with the Hinson modified stock lock out cover.. I like the Hinson more because the ring is welded to the cover rather than being epoxied in place.. IMO weld is much more durable and reliable. .
I'm also going to do some of the Cascade frame mods.. Cant wait to play with my new Snap On TIG welder.. Then I'll have it PC'd the same color as it now. I'm using chromoly for the mods.
Thats what i thought too.. Mike was a cool and helpful also. I'll be going back this spring to tune and baseline the new setup. Going with a little welded up set of stock cyls, set up for 4mil w/new pump gas domes. Should make a fun trail bike![emoji2]
