  1. Can i get a free set as a fellow Michigander?!
  2. 5th mod down on this link to Cascades frame mod section. http://67.199.65.66/cascade_innovations/newlook/content_page.cfm?if_page_id=258
  3. I'm looking for a good used or new Hinson billet brake pedal that is set up for a lock out clutch cover. Cash ready in Paypal for a mint or good condition part.
  4. Why 2 posts for the same thing?
  5. It just seems to me that if you went through some very muddy areas that dirt would get in them causing premature wear or failure..
  6. ^^^Yes^^^ Clutch needs to be dismantled for the actuator to be removed/installed.
  7. Check the rod bearings.. Especially the big end..
  8. Poor design on those arms... The exposed heims are a terrible idea for any bike that is not strictly an asphalt drag bike... I looked at those when I was buying a-arms and I passed as soon as I saw the exposed heims... I opted for the Alba Pro-Elite gullwing arms.. You're kind of stuck with that set-up unless you switch to different arms...
  9. That is the same one I use.. To install it you'll have to cut out the divider on the tank that seperates the reserve tube from the main tube... Because the stocker has 2 filters one off to each side and the Pingle has a single filter in the center...
  10. ^^ I can see there being too much slop... When you're trying to keep things toleranced and tight .018 will make a difference.. Nice bolts, too bad they don't make them with cap heads.
  11. I had one that had the exact same problem... It ended up being a bad flywheel... Tried 3 different stators, then for shits and giggles swapped a flywheel, and bam fixed.... The old one had broken up magnents inside of it.... Try shaking your flywheel in your hand, if it rattles it's bad...
  12. Rockets all the way! Just got a set of the R1's and can't wait to try them out.... I'm going from a set of FMF Gold's circa 1996 LOL
  13. Tricked did you get it from Gordons in Pontiac? If so what part number? I have an account with them and they'll deliver it to me!
  14. ^^ We call those clit burners^^ LOL they work awesome for delicate aluminum surfaces... I always use a scraper but, my scraper is sharpened using a sharpening stone,( so sharp you can shave with it) and I'm good with it... Been doing it that way for 20+ years and have never gouged a surface... You just have to make sure you hold the scraper very square to the surface being scraped..
  15. Parts washer full of clean mineral spirits, and a good stiff bristled parts washing brush... Let the cases soak for about 20mins. then go at cleaning them with the brush... Don't forget to wear rubber gloves.... After you have them mostly dirt free, pressure wash them... Then blow them dry with compressed air.... That is how we always cleaned transmission parts/cases when I worked at the transmission shop... Scrape all the gasket surfaces with a SHARP scraper or razor blade before starting to clean them.. DO NOT GOUGE YOUR GASKET MATING SURFACES!!!
  16. ^^^THIS^^^ anti-seize every bolt or you risk a chance of the threads galling and breaking the bolts off.... And, dr+illing out stainless is near impossible..
  17. I have the same full bolt set... Along with the peg bolts and the lower motor mount bolts... The fit is awesome, and every bolt, nut, washer is polished like jewelry... I did not use the cylinder base nuts or the head nuts, or the rear sprocket nuts... I bought chrome acorn nuts for the them from my local hardware store.... I like the look of the acorn nuts more for those spots..
  18. Thank you Tyler! I can't wait to get them on my bike!
  19. $650 shipped w/ gifted paypal payment?
  20. Magic Racing in Shelby Twp. or Magic in Waterford? I run R-50 at 32:1 I buy it by the quart and mix 8 gallons at one time..
  21. Depends on how much you want to spend... Do both if you can afford it..
  22. Hinson Basket & straight cuts for sale? If so how much $$$
  23. Boost bottle could have torn the intake boots... Causing a lean condition, which is why it "kinda" runs ok with the supplemental fuel from the choke circuit... Did it run good before?
