  1. You really should do some more research before you go and do what you are telling us. Might want to talk to a few more builders and get more options. Not saying anything bad about Jeff but there has been a lot of testing done on the serval cylinders so make sure you are doing the research you need to before you spend your money
  2. How about I ship you a box of hardware and you chrome it for me?
  3. Hey dumb ass did I say it was not possible to make one run right with a single on it????????? No I simply said it was easier to put duals back on it and that it would run better. I have seen some bikes that ran very well with a single but when they put 2 carbs back on them they ran even better!
  4. Skeet told me he cant wait to get drunk and spill booze all over Dave's trailer again!!!
  5. I will be there for sure! Oops something came up now we cant make it. There I cover it all in one little post. Go ahead Dave start giving me shit
  6. Would be much easier in the long run to sell your 2 into 1 and put stock carbs back on it. I assure you it will run way better with 2 on it than one. If you insist on running what you got then like stated above needle is super important on that setup
  7. Did they not have bushings in them when he pulled the bike apart? I would be asking him for the bushings because if they are a odd size they are not going to fit anything else he has.
  8. Not hard at all! Simply drill a couple of holes on each end stick a short piece of steel in there and plug weld it. Be stronger than any other part of the frame but I am sure he appreciates your positive feedback on his for sale add!!!!!
  9. Adjust the cable a little tighter and see if it shifts okay? You are saying the arrows line up when you pull the slack out right?
  10. .500 use a die grinder and if you go too far just use a shit load of JB Weld
  11. Believe it or not this has been used by many for years. It does work but you need to know what you are doing.
  12. What a pathetic thread that is!!!! I cant believe those idiots bringing God into it. Unreal!!!!
  13. That stupid thing has been all over this site for I have no idea how many years now. No it is not a banshee and it is dumb!!!!
  14. Shit I have had to straighten almost every wheel on my bikes. Bend the shit out of them all the time.
  15. Good looking bike fore sure but you are going to get beat up bad on that price.
  16. Dont get me wrong I have seen this happen to other peoples bikes I have just not had it happen to me. No the carbs are all the same over the years unless someone has put different ones on it but I know you say they are stock. I would just make sure you are not over tightening them is my only guess.
  17. Loose the boost bottle like said above. You need to run a stock cross over tube and just make sure your filters are on their nice and straight and you should have no issues with them falling off unless you are running a extra wide clamp or something like that. I have regular hose clamps on all 3 of my bikes and I have never had one fall off.
  18. I dont remember who it was. Think my biggest problem was we were camping in the camp ground so every time I tried to ride through the parking lot to get out to the sand was when I would get pulled over. I was just idling both times going nice and slow. It was not the old guy I dont think but it may have been. Was last year early in the summer I just remember he was in the Black F-150 he actually ask me which camp spot we were in and drove through camp several times that weekend to make sure I was not out riding.
  19. Last 2 times I tried to go to Sand Lake I was pulled over for sound and all I have is in frame Shearers. Last time they pulled me over they told me to not come back unless I had different pipes. No clue how you guys get away with drag bikes there??
  20. On another note hey ZILLA how is that EFI coming along??? LOL Just trying to help out.
  21. Very true but if you do not have a impact driver then you use a screwdriver as described. I am well aware it does the same thing but every time I go to use my impact driver I can never seem to find the bits so I just do it this way.
