At this point I must say I agree with StoneMX box this thing up and get it sent to a builder. That being said listen to what the builder tells you not what everyone on here says. Yes you can ask for advice and ask what experience others have had with different motors but your builder is going to know what will work best for you in the long run. Nothing against you but you obviously do not have a lot of experience with banshee motors and sending it off to a builder to start from the ground up is probably the best bet. I would trust what Cameron tells you to build you can take suggestions from people on here but in the end never argue with your builder because of something you were told on the internet. There is nothing these guys hate more than having a person call them and ask what they should build then in the end say well people on line told me to build this!!

You need to remove the carbs to take the jets out and make sure you only remove one at a time that way you do not swap slides or get anything mixed up between them. You should probably have a 27.5 pilot and somewhere around a 320 main jet in the bike with the mods you listed

Hold the choke out half way with your hand and see if it stays running. Pretty much sounds like your pilot is just too small. Really need to pull the jets out and see what is in it.

Does it idle when cold if you leave the choke pulled out? Need to look at see what size main and pilot is in the carbs.

PWK carbs are a little easier to work on than PJ carbs. I you are buying new I would go with PWK just because the idle is much easier to set and it is easy to figure out the jetting on them since most guys on here have a set on a bike or have ran a set on one of their bikes.

Best thing to do is take cylinders to shop and have them measure them then let them order pistons or wait till he tells you what size he needs to bore it to then you order pistons and he will bore to that size. Plenty of good shops in Cali just do a little research on this site and you will find lots.

Possum I totally agree hell every builder makes mistakes! Shit I rode two different motor at the dunes one weekend that were built by a different builder and they both ran like shit and had no balls. I didn't come on here and start bashing that builder I told both guys to get in contact with that builder and I was sure he would make it right. What a couple of us are saying is that windy is a ass and when he did have a issue he made a massive deal out of it and never delt with it in the right way then started shit talking instead of allowing cam to fix the problem. Hell anyone who has built very many motor has had issues! I know I have built some that had issues but I was lucky enough to have done the work for guys who were nice enough to allow me to make it right instead of just taking it somewhere else and making a big deal out of it.

So it is funny that windy keeps demanding answers about his questions and ignoring the questions ask of him. This got me thinking so I made a few phone calls a couple to California and a couple more to some places that I will not name just because I don't want to hurt poor windys feeling when he finds out who is talking. Seems the word on the street is the reason windy will not answer these questions is that he does not have a running motor! Appears his motor may have gone BOOM. Now if that is true it would explain a lot! Can't really bash Matt because if he does that will just be the third builder in a row and he knows how much worse that would make him look! Like I said that is just the word maybe windy can answer that one?

Holy shit you called him four whole times? For fuck sakes you idiot I call him four times a day when I am working on a motor especially if it is not running right! I am going to leave that only because you are doing a great job of making yourself look stupid you don't need any help there. Can you please tell me why only you and your buddy are unhappy with your redline motors and almost every other person who has had one built by him can say nothing but how fast it is and how amazing it runs?

I am a nobody from Oregon I am not a drag racer I am simply a guy who happens to be good friends with Cameron and spends a fair amount of time in his shop and have had a shit load of bikes on his dyno. I have also had my bikes on other dynos besides his and every time the numbers have been damn near identical to the numbers that his show. I know that no matter what Cameron will go way above and beyond what he needs to do to make a deal right for the customer!!! Even when someone talks shit about him he will still suck it up and do what he feels is the right thing to try and make that person happy. Plain and simple some people will never be happy and the day will come when Windy has a issue with his Shearer motor and he will start bashing Matt too!!!!!

Totally agree and the new guys jumping in are just riding the band wagon. But that being said the only reason myself and a few others are giving Windy shit is because of his actions and what he continues to do. You are right he has been very helpful to many people on here but when he decides something is a certain way then there is nothing that can be different it is just his way or no way. He got a motor from Redline he was not happy with plain and simple. Not a big deal but instead of dealing with it with Cameron and giving him the chance to make it right he went about it the complete wrong way and continues to bash on every dyno sheet that he posts. Even after all his bull shit Cam still bought his top end back just to try and do the right thing yet Windy continues to talk shit. Sorry I have no use for that! I have known Cameron for many years and he has gone above and beyond to help me and everyone I ride with no matter what the amount of money was spent with him!!!! I will not just leave it alone when he continues to bash on someone who has done nothing but help every person he can whenever possible and has built some of the fastest banshee motors on the planet!!!!!!!!!

You can not adjust the power band he was just messing with you dude. Sounds like to me your jetting is just off if it is slow coming off the bottom then runs well on top. Best way to answer this is to take one carb off and see what pilot and main jet you have in it right now. Then list all the mods along with the elevation you are running at and we will be able to get your jetting really close to where it should be.

No if you ban him it would ruin every ones entertainment!!!
