  3. Sounds like a broken or bent shift fork and the repair is hard to guess on. You able to tear the motor out yourself and get it apart? If so the repair will be much cheaper
  4. God I wish I had to time to make this ride! I would love nothing more than to take on Windy on my 421 true dune bike! I would race for pinks with Windy from one of the dunes to the other and back me on my little true dune bike. I love what people call a duner! Mine is a duner and any time Windy wants to bring his long winded ass to Oregon I would enjoy watching him (DUNE) his bike.

  7. Just use the tester you have and see what numbers if gives you. Then you will know where to start looking

  9. Holy shit what did you guys use to get that right side cylinder off??? Looks like you took a chisel and a hammer to it The pieces probably went out the exhaust that happens. You pulls the silencers apart you will probably find them. It needs a complete tear down inspect the crank and replace if needed then put the motor back together

  11. Wiseco is a better piston if you ask me but I have rebuilt bikes with all the pistons we are talking about here for guys who wanted to save some money and have yet to have a issue with any of them.

  13. Well changing you pilot is not going to affect anything other than the bottom end. If it runs good and has for this long I would say you are pretty damn safe. If you were going to blow it up would have already happened
  14. The adjustment that sets that is in the middle of the clutch when you pull the cover off. You can fix that by adjusting it but it is not really that big of a deal as long as the clutch has enough adjustment up on the perch
  15. Since the only thing you have changed is the filter and the timing it should not need much more jetting above stock. I would try a 210 main but if it is bogging really bad off idle that tends to make a person thing you either have a clogged pilot jet or your pilot is to small. I would not think there is any reason to change pilots if you have not changed the pipes. Try the 210 mains and see what it does with those.

  18. I would say for the setup you have your mains are a little big but not that bad. What do the plugs look like? As a general rule FMF pipes like a pretty big pilot. I would put either a 27.5 or a 30 pilot in it leave the main where it is for now and see what that does.

  20. You are just doing this by hand without the motor running I am guessing? Does it shift all the gears just feels weird to you?

  23. If it has 2 different size pistons in the the weight is going to be different and that is not a good idea to do that!
  24. Throw the damn single carb in the trash and put duals back on it. Way easier to tune and bike will run better with dual carbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
