I agree with you Tricked but my 5 year old daughter is on a LT80 riding the sand dunes so is that a sport quad or not? Some day she will move up probably to a Blaster and then on to a Banshee so I would consider all of them sport quads.

Ask him to see the Dyno sheet? I highly doubt it is close to that number but I would ask for the sheet if he says he does not have it ask him for the persons name at the shop who built it and call them and talk to them. How much is he asking for it?

Gusto I have never tuned a motor with PC pipes on it but depending on your elevation your main may be a little big for the CPI pipes it will be close. Sleeper you think it wanting that big of a pilot had anything to do with the reeds? That is a really big pilot for those carbs I usually only run into needing that big on one on FMF pipes but I have also never put 4'S on a motor yet.

I have tuned a lot of bikes with T5 pipes on them and I have yet to find one that wanted a 30 pilot with those pipes. Like was said above. Put a 27.5 pilot in it and play with air screw from there. Your main should be damn close

There are many many guys on here with lots of years of experience and for some reason all the new guys that are going on here ask questions and dont really want to hear the answer unless it is the answer they think you should give them. Dont ask the fucking question if you are not willing to take the advice. A compression test is needed to know if he hurt the cylinders or not riding it the way he did. Is it possible yes anything is possible!!!!!!!!! NO THAT IS NOT HOW YOU SET THE IDLE SCREW!! Take some advice and ask questions and be willing to listen to the answers you are given and you are going to get a lot more help. You really need to do a COMPRESSION test and a leak down test on the motor to see what is going on with it. If bike revs up and will not idle down either the slides are stuck or you have a serious air leak. If you did have him set the idle screw that way and not the air screw that would also explain why the bike will not idle down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not really tearing into it to check the flywheel key. Make sure you do not try and pull the flywheel unless you have the right puller! Do not put a jaw puller on it and try to get it off you will ruin it!!!

YOU HAVE A TIMING ISSUE CHECK YOUR FLYWHEEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it backfires and does not sound right when it does start then check your flywheel as stated a couple of times above also need to do a compression test and make sure that is good. You dont usually foul plugs wide open in 5th gear!
