  1. I was having the same prob...then i rejetted and started riding the banshee like it how it to be ridden and havent seen any oil yet. and plus i repacked my exhaust. sounds alot better and sweeter.

  3. to find the spot you will have to go to ebay. or a light store. but i found out that Home Depot wants $5-7 for one MR16 35w. Does that come with a reach around? :shrug:

  5. MR16 I believe are the bulbs and you can get them off ebay for like 10 for 10 plus shipping.... I got the Leds on the way but dont think they are going to be bright enough for me. but oh well... Whats $10 on 10 bulbs....5 spot and 5 flood!!!! Ill buy them before I break down and buy the trailtecs again.. $350 but lifetime which is nice. Im on my sec pair from them on my raptor. But my lights from CheckerAuto are almost as bright!!!

  8. You want to keep the reeds closest to the jugs. so the spacer needs to be on the carb side. True and all but you also have to look at that each cylinder has its own carb on the banshee unless you have a 2-1. and the v8 has one or 2 4br carbs to feed that thing. so if anything i would see a better performance on the 2-1.
  9. are you able to do a compression check? If not you can pick one up at the auto store or try to find a buddy that has one. the compression with elevation a builder will be able to tell you if your in for a new top end but im guess you will have to deglaze and new piston rings at the min...And if you have time, you can pull your intake off always down to the jugs to look in side at the pistons and bore. You should beable to get an idea on whats going on
  10. nice shocks...I wish my yfz shocks would turn into elkas if i did that...but there is a big gain in a 2+1 arms!!!! sense you have the shocks already

If you dont need to run High Oct gas then why pay for it...If you want to spend money on fuel and dont need the oct you can write me a check to go riding!!! thats why i love the Noss cool head. change domes when i want to go race and change to go trail riding. But do have 4 raptors in the fam that we do have to run 100 oct on so it does add up at the pump. here in Phx there is a pump down the street that has a 100 oct pump but for $8 a gal. so we are always looking for places to sell 110 to do a 50/50 mix. and an FYI. dont run AV gas. the are changing the law on who they pump and how they pump. here you can no longer take a jug to fill up. they can only pump into an aircraft wing. and plus its leaded. which i have seen faster build up so more time on the down time to clean up ports to repolish.

  14. When auto stores ship there parts, they put them into boxes...Do you think that they guy carrying them cares whats on the inside. they get dropped and what do you know. You know how the plug is like glass some times. That is why i always check them before i buy them over the counter. give them a little tap on the porcelain side and look for cracks and what not. And always check the gap. You never know someone could have returned the plugs with a regap. Just what i have seen when I worked at a auto store.
  15. Ace is the place!!! But i could see that spacing out the carb from the reeds might help at higher RPM and will also help out F/M. but the 3/8 i believe the space is, is not enough to see any gains. but if you go back to a V8 carb. you can add diff sizes of carb spacers to change where your tq and hp curves hit. but it is little if any change. Thats why they make diff cams. as for the 2 stroke we have different porting. And if your spacers is on. Is it on the jug side or the carb side?
  16. You have to think about it like a high rise manifold off of a V8. the longer runners help at higher rpm and suck down low to change tq and hp curves. But those have valves to keep the fuel and air mix in the chamber. on a 2stroke. you have the reed valves. I could see it helping to flow more around more of the reeds rather then the round intake of the carb being closer to the cage. but that small of a spacer would be min if any none to gain on a small cc motor. Plus you have more worries about an air leak from more places. so buy two sets and let me know how they work!!! But the only real way would be to have your hands on a dyno to find out if spacing the carb farther away from the reed cage could help at all.

  18. I love the fattys. they are a great all around pipe. never had tried the t6's but i know the t5s are great pipes that everyone likes. But mine came with fattys. But duning, trail and dragn the hill i have no props with.
  19. anything is better then stock. I watched ebay and got some burgards for around 200 shipped and new. as for shocks the rez's are a A+. You can get the elkas with out them for a good price and later on down the road you can always upgrade to them for you liking.
  20. Save for them... if you want you can find some yfz450 shocks tell then...thats what im doing

  22. I have the fattys and im at 300 mains and 25 pilot. If you have time you can order the jets off ebay. I got 2 270-280-290-300-320-330 for under $30 shipped. I had gottn the 310's from a shop and charged me $5 a jet so thats why i went to ebay. and as for the puller...I dont have a clue!!! And if you dont have the Tors kit. I would Highly rec on getting that. it makes jetting easy and fast!!!

  25. Yea man the best thing you can do is upgrade the stock suspension. I have +2+1 burgard with yfz 450 shocks and a gforce axle +4 and love them...I would do this set up again. but hey if the carbs read 28 on the inside then they have to be. I love the stockers over 2-1 if you have them dialed in which is easy. I want to get my stockers cut to 27.5 but just have to find someone first. Happy Riding!!!!
