  1. hi guys im bout to take some stuff to a local powdercoater and was wondering if i could get some advice about the whole deal. the reason im asking here is because he dosent stuff like this reguraly....its mainly powdercoating fences. now, the questions. what do you with the threads, splines and bearing guides? tape it up, avoid it??? i want a candy/metalic blue...do you need to shoot a silver underneath to make it "pop"? is clear coat nessecary? thanks alot for any and all help ned
  2. no thats just what i run. it ran great before the rebuild so why not afterwards. anyone offer any jetting advice?
  3. BTW will be running 98 octane at 30:1 with fully synthetic motul.
  4. hi finally got all my parts on there way to me. im currently at 0-300 feet above sea level. my engine setup is as follows K&T dune ported cylinders bored out for 66.25mm blaster pistons 4mil stroker NOSS head with 21cc domes +4 timing 33mm PWK VF3 T5's fully upgraded fast clutch setup really have no idea where i should start the jets and needle posistion at so any help would be very muchly appreciated. ned

    Fox shocks

if you put on a set of yfz450 aarms those shocks would be perfect length. the yfz450 shocks withe the 450 arms lower the ride height. 17 inch shocks is pretty much spot on length. although you will need to get a-arms and spindles off the 450 cause the banshee spindles will limit travel and the ball joints will wear very quickly.
  7. i dont have a problem cleaning...more the maintenance on chrome and polish. cause i ride in all conditions so it would have water sitting on it all day. plus salt from the beach/dunes.
  8. bout to send my shee off for some powdercoat and have come up with my final colour scheme. my bikes a dune/trail orientated machine but we also hit mud in the winter so im thinking a heap of polish and chrome will be too hard to maintain. all white standard fenders, black seat, black grill, black frame, black a-arms, all gloss black engine with alloy NOSS head, black beadlock wheels, black bumper, elkas front and rear, gforce axle chrome, natural finish t5's and black fast bars. then ill get some bansheehq stickers in a light grey colour and make up a sorta subtle graphics kit to break up the all white fenders?
  9. yeh, having remotes gives you a bit more oil capacity and the line provides a bit of cooling. but i think its just preference and fit more than anything.
  10. adjust at the thumb throttle?
  11. this would make it road legal in australia. our law states that for two rear wheels there must be a differential.
