  1. shit with pods and just exhaust I was running 300s and 25's for the dunes... I would have to stay start out at 25p's and then 290 and drop from there.
  2. I have a question on the pilots that your running. just got mine dune ported and wanted to see what your running because I getting ready to put my motor back together and wanted to see if i needed to buy some bigger pilots before i start the bike up. Thanks

  5. This is going to be harder then I was thinking...At least im not the only one stuck on this...
  6. im not being smart...if you think about it... plastics are the easy way to do it and easy way to add on. anyone seeing a blaster with two pipes is going to say hey...thats not stock... But if you are to do the swap you have electrical, and motor fab work that needs to be done. When all you have to do is make some plastic work with some JB weld (plastic setter) for some mounting points. If your wanting to do a motor swap then put in a street bike motor with 600cc. Then if you really want power add a turbo and then get the 10X factor of a living, and proven power.
  7. what i have been reading and hearing alot from guys that they are running are 27.5pilots and start around 310s for mains depending on temp...
  8. well I have to add my .02 on lonestar.... I snapped my 660 axle going 5mph up a hill with lite rocks...I have jumped the shit out of it.... duned and tail ridden the bike to no ends. I have had axles bend but not break off. I have a G force on my banshee and have jumped and trailed the bike to no ends and has held up great. but for 325.00 for a lonestar I would think else where. I have the lonestar long travel on my rhino and snapped a axle and they wouldnt warrenty my axle so I had to buy a new one. Ill try to get some pics up of my axle that snapped. All I can say is that it must have been broke for some time because there was rust on the inside of the breakl. and a tiny little core that was holding it together.

  10. im going to say you are close but T5s and Fattys are diff. You might want to up the pilots to 27.5 to help out. But do some plug chops when you get a chance...
  11. what kind of filtering are you running? with lid? without lid? Pods? those will make a big diff...and when you can get a good starting point; plug chops are on the way for you!!!

  13. pull the lid off and open the bike up...it will run much better and start your jetting around 290 and going down from there

  15. im thinking right around 95oct... just my .02 I think when you hit around 160+is when you start running 100. but some builders will be able to help out better then I can...
  16. whats in the carbs... what exhaust and hows the intake being ran? we can help you better after that
  17. thats how I did mine as well!!! Kind of like them up there on the fender mount then I do the stock loc.
  18. went from using 80w to type F trans oil and it works well...Cheap but have to change it more then ever. But I know it will have new oil in for every dunes trip and after 2-3 trail riding. As for smoking, Mine smokes at start up but when its worm it doesnt smoke but very little
  19. add a 11.1 piston, stage2 cam. good exhaust and K&N and you will be right around 50hp...I got P&P done with DMC aline exhaust and pulled 52HP to the wheels...Got an 07 700r that pulled 60hp to the wheels.

  21. valvaline 2stoke oil. Have been using it for years and about 3 in the banshee. Just tore it down to get the jugs ported and everything looks great!!!
  22. got a 98 banshee 05 660 raptor and 07 700r raptor. all with +2+1 arms and +4 axle and you can do anything with these bike.
  23. got an 05 660 raptor 07 700r raptor and a 98 banshee. the banshee is the worst, then it the 660 raptor then the 700r for gas. But then it all depends on how it is being riden. For the dune I always have to carry about 2 gals of gas for the banshee in the rhino or a rail but if I ride the raptors im good for the trip out and back.
  24. any reason why to be running cooler plugs? U running NOS?
