  1. get a peice of tubing and reduce it down a couple of sizes and let it exit behind the engine somewhere.
  2. oooooooooo the suspense is killling me
  3. its supposed to be like that, its new hone and helps to seat the rings
  4. im only looking to do a +4 advance. ive seen a "how to" on here some where and cant find it isnt it something like 1mm=1* oh and thanks for the "inspirational comments" magz :: lol
  5. could some one please point me in the direction of a thread where it show/explains how to do the diy slotting on the stock timing plate? yes im a cheap skate and i bought a degree key and YES my banshee chewed it to little tiny small peices 5 minutes after unloading it from the trailer, BUT in my defence ANY decent banshee performance parts have to be imported here from the US and the adj timing plate not on the list of "important" things at the minute.
  6. just a quick bump. put a new K&N in today with some new plugs (br8) and a fresh mix of valvoline @ 36;1 and its running like a psycho and wheelies on the throttle from nowhere in 4th. thanks all for your advice AGAIN
  7. its called yamabond. and to try and split the cases while its still in the frame is just bone lazy man lol , it only takes 4 bolts to get the engine out anyway
  8. check out wot their fetching on ebay and your local auto trader and make your decision from there. thats wot i do when im not too sure,
  9. yeah i would defo recommend porting, i had a pretty stock shee last year and i thought it was the nuts, i did a couple of little things like vf3's +4's and pods with outerwears and it blow most 4 bangers away, i got this new one wuth paul turner porting and huge carbs and its f*cking insane
  10. now that is a cool idea. those air boxes are a pain in the arse to get in and out. mine even more so becuase of the billet intake and bigger carbs.
  11. bin the filter man and get a K&N
  12. yeah your right man consider my wrists well and truly slapped, as for the plugs yeah they were black as hell, but sometimes ya cant see the woods for the trees tho lol. too busy trouble shooting and fault finding rather than the common sense approach, buti know now the plugs are 2 hot and i have been skimping a little on the 2 stroke i love my banshee again lol
  13. ok get this. went down the garage today. same plugs same fuel, took the airfilter off and it ran like a f*cking MISSILE, airfilter is/was a K&N but its that old its not the normal reddy puirple colour its BLACK,
