I mix at 32:1. 1 to 4. Yamalube 2R is good stuff but there are alot of oils out there that have a stronger film strength and burn cleaner less carbon build up smell alot better ect.. I recomend Maxima Castor 927. I switched from Yamalube to 927 and I sure wont go back.

I dont know about that. Sounds like a roumer to me. Ive seen alot of people replace their stators for bigger ones. they can go bad but I wouldnt worry about it untill it actualy does. As for replacments you cant beat Ricky Stator http://www.rickystator.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=24_40

jetting adjustment with +4 timing and u2 fuel
Washburn replied to rideblue_05's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Wow, If it does let go your gonna need to do alot more than just throw a stroker crank in there. It sucks to go up on your dome size but your really pushing it. A few hours taking your crank out sending it to someone whos good at welding cranks could end up saving you alot of time headaches and $$$$. 100 dollars and 8 hours now sure beats 1000 dollars and 20 hours in the future. -

I agree with getting your crank trued and welded with the 18s but I run 20s with my stock crank and I will for another year untill I get my 4mil stroker. Do you guys know anything about the carrlia sp cranks? Do they make them for the Banshee? -

I never ran the U2 but my mechanic who races in the PRO Class in the GNCC series runs and swears by it. He carrys U2 c12 and VP110 and U2 is all he ever puts in his bike but he never just rides ever. He only races. so I definatly think you will notice a diffrence in power. If you are willing to pay 13 bucks a gallon for fuel then try it out. Buy 3/12 gallons with whatever premix you run and run a tank of it and make your mind up that way. Ill stick with the VP110 for 5 bucks a gallon though. Im also going to start buying my 927 in the big bottles so I can save on that. How do you like your TCS shocks? Have you ever rode any other shock on a Banshee to compare? -

You might be able to get away with the jetting you are running now if its good. Timing advances alot of the time dont call for a jetting change and going to U2 is not an issue. That stuff is expensive as hell though. I can get it whenever I want Im just going with the VP110. You can chill on 11 bucks a gallon and I know if I ran it Ide always want it. Im not even going to run it in races. I just cant see spending that kind of money on oxegenated fuel. 13 a gallon with premix -
Isent it true that when you go to China all of the money you make there you have to spend there? My buddie Brendens nephew is going there and that is what he was told.

Yeah and make sure the threads are good. You dont want a false torque reading and the acorn nuts are only like -20 bucks something you may want to look into.

It really depends on how you ride . If your gonna ride hardcore every single weekend or more I suguest getting the best. You could spend less on rec a arms and no adjust shocks but once you start getting faster and faster your going to need all of them adjustments. If you have 1000.00 to spend save for a few more months and get the best. Or at least get the Castor/camber adjustable A-Arms and a shcok like the Elka e36 ride on them for a season save up sell them and get better shocks. Youll alreay have the a arms. If you dont ride as hard as you possibly can and your not looking to drasticaly improve your riding by 10 steps and up go with a recreational setup.

Yeah man, He always has been good. Hes a good mechanic and has good prices on parts too (Awsome shop) why do you think Im building his website and dealing parts for him. Ill find out more about them walmart balls next time I go up but its not gonna be for a while its way to damn cold to ride and Im gonna be a minute on the website so I dont need to take stock and get in the books yet. I can always call though. Let me know if you want to know anything else I will be more than happy to find out for you.

I dont think its a good idea unless you weigh a buck 20. Im all or more torque off the start it might not hurt you as bad (still will) at higher rpms but it will of a start espically a slow one +for a hillclimb with no launch room. + they have been known to spider out and bust definatly if you remove more than a few ozs thats sketchy territory. Better carbs, V3s, Timing, smaller domes/milled head, then a greater spark, port work ect. -
You sure can. They are interchangable 100%

I was going to put a twist on my Banshee when I first got it cause I rode with one on my LT250R for so many years I dident think I would like the thumb. I still might because my thumb gets sore and I am used to the twist after using it for so many years I would catch on again within a few rides. You have to learn how to controll them though cause like stated they can really get out of controll comming out of turns and landing jumps. Its all about prefrence.

Damn thats a nice job. I scratch my helmets up to bad on unsuspected branches and stuff to drop any cream into that but it sure looks nice.

Like I said Im going to run those walmart balls and see how they work out. I figured there were many GNCC ciructs for people who live in a state so they dont have to travle all around america. I was a little misinformed. Here is the series he races in and it was 7th overall. http://www.imxracing.com/index.php?option=...7&Itemid=53 This is where I will be racing when I get my Banshee ready. Probably the 08 season. Whats you name bro? Is your Banshee black and Yellow? If so we were talking a few months ago on the road. My place is rite off of Jacobs Road. I hung out with Cody my whole childhood when he used to ride his CR250. Did you ever ride up the strip mines that the amish turned into the the sawmill Hilltop hardware. My property runs rite behind there. I own most of the trails. Sucide hill the superbowl ect... My names Neil Collins I rode an LT160 and moved on to a LT250R when I was 15. I havent raced in a series yet but is Chad a cousin of Jerimiahs and that young dude Jessi with the 400ex?
