Damn good job. What do you think about doint that to this one
-
Waoooooooow, that was reaaaalllly good

Exactly what I was asking. Thank you for your imput. I tend to shift pretty hard and sometimes I do unintentional rest my foot on the shifter so the already cut ones dont seem to be for me. I like to feel the shift. I might get bansheeseat$$$ to cut my stock one so its not as round as cascades or duncans and try that out. If I dont like it Ill just trade for another stock one.

Good Job little lady  make that 450 eat your roost  After you start taking the holeshot with the V3s and he sees that new head come in dont be suprised if he does a bad instalation job on purpose. You can do it we can help. The Banshee Depot  Who wants to get beat by a 20 year old 2 stroke by their wife :yelrotflmao: Good luck

I can help you spend even more money if your intrested in more power  A Noss Head with smaller domes VF3s and a Ricky Stator timing plate. With those mods and your pipes and filters youll have pretty much every bolt on power mod in the book for alot of added power untill your ready for porting  If you want to go with the Noss Head and smaller domes I have a set of Boyesen power reeds on stock reed cages I could give you for 15 shipped. Thats only if you treat yourself to the head and domes though. I dont mind I have 2 sets of boyesen reeds and stock cages:) Remember you get a 10% discount on a Noss Head for being a BHQ member. Noss Head and domes- 260 Stator plate- 45 Reeds- 189.00 or 15.00 untill you can afford the VF3s Oh it adds up but it sure is fun after its all said and done

Ive tried Boyesen power reeds and V Force 3s and the VF3s are hands down the better reeds. I chose them because that is what the fastest guys out there run 10 to 1 for all types of racing. Some reeds may claim more HP but they dont tell you what setup they got more HP out of. If you are going to spend close to 200 dollars on reeds go with the reeds that are the most proven. Jeff F.A.S.T. Racing (site sponcer) had the VF3s for 189.00 you should check and see if he still has them for that price cause thats a smokin deal.

Its good information for the people it applys to no doubt. A Suguestion for next time would be to make one thread with all of the citys and events in the subject and under. Then make the body of the post 10 pages long. If all of the threads would meet 2 or 3 pages a piece that would be diffrent. Just some constructive critisisim.

Engine Ice doesnt offer freeze protection either. I think it says something like its safe at 32 degrees (somewhere around there). Im glad I dident put it in my radiator for the winter as it has been below zero lately I use the 50/50 Maxima blend in the winter and Im going to use engine Ice in the summer.

I dont know much about either arm but the ASR look better to me mabey more solid? The Hemis shouldnt need replaced if you have zirks and keep all of the mud and debris out. I definatly recomend the Chromoly ones. You need chromoly if you beat on your arms they are very strong. You usualy have to replace the bushings every year if you are racing twice a year unless you take them apart and clean them real good after every few races then they should last a while longer.

Yup, Jeff is a good guy to deal with. I ordered my Carb Synch Tool he called me when it came in shipped it out quick and told me how to use it  No doubt man

Man, I was going to post this before then too but I kept forgeting. I could definatly get 300 or more no problem whatsoever for my TR6s. The only Pics I have are crappy ones that are foged up from it being wet and all dirty looking from 2 days of riding . I cleaned them once over and they shine. I bought some mothers chrome polish and a couple packs of shop rags I dident apply yet but I will be sure to do that for anyone who wants them and they will look almost new except on one spot the size of a quarter. plus I will throw in the bottle of Mothers and an unopen package of lint free shop rags for the future.

Looks good man. Kinda wish you would of hit me up. I could of got you those shocks for more than 60.00 cheaper. Future refrence. Your gonna love that setup. I cant wait till I get mine.

Kenny, it sounds like you have to big of a port job for woods riding. Im getting a 4mil hotrods stroker crank with a lowend agressive woods port with PT MIDS A 35mm single carb setup VF3s Noss Head with 20cc domes and advanced timing +4 and I will be running a -2 swingarm. As you can tell the extended swingarm doesnt help handeling. Im sure you can find a nice set of cylinders here in the for sale section. That would be your best bet because you know the Cyls you will be getting are exactly as described or Ebay just make sure to ask for pics. Probably run you around 200 bucks. What kind o carbs are you running? Tell us every mod handleing and preformance you have done to your Banshee.
-
66mm is .80 over. I cant guess what kind of portyou have without looking at your cyls. If its a top end screamer you probably have alot more taken out than the standered woods port or the ports were raised to high. Do you have a stock swingarm or an extended one? Does it stand up out of controll in 3rd-5th gear? Its very hard to guess what kind of HP you are pushing . There are way to many variables there. You could always buy some virgin port cylinders and get them ported to your style and sell yours to offset the cost. You will probably break even. What kind of riding do you do?

Is that Boyers rite on 308?

You have a PM birthday boy

A good thing to do for deadbeats like this guy seems to be is get all of the information you can before you send payment. If your paying through Paypal still get the phone number and home address just incase you need to contact the seller for any reason. If the person selling is not willing to give this infomation to you its more than likely a scam. I wanted to buy some stuff off of him. He was quick to PM me a price and paypal adress but he never responded when I asked him for other information. That told me dont send him money. I say this because Ive talked to a few people he has burnt. One person is to many so I dont have a problem writing this.

Has the Banshee just outlived its time? XC/HS
Washburn replied to banskie's topic in XC/Hare Scramble Forum
Its all about endurance and control. You can Mod a Banshee (Stock geometry) to hang with the 450r all day long but it is bigger and harder to throw around and you have to shift more. If I was racing in the pro class to make a name for myself I would probably ride a YFZ450 because they are eayser. For me the Banshee has that super sweet power delivery I like the ride you dont have to move around on the seat as much and its not bunched up while you might be going slower than a 4 stroke you feel like you are going faster. Thats the truth. -
Do you guys partcularly you woods/racer guys that have the shift star mod have any problems with it shifting up a gear? It seems like a smooth gear and a cheap buy but Im curious if its to smooth? when your racing in tight stuff does it ever skip a gear? Did any of you replace the spring and bearing? Ive bent shifters and shift shafts racing my LT250R from shifting to hard. I bent the shift shaft when I was racing it. This was a while I did this untill I got new breaks so I relyed on the gears to slow down.

If you want to be sure give me his number and let me talk to him. Ill find out for you bud  Buy it. Fix it. Mod it.

Yeah I worked it out to get that half payed off and the Law school shes going to wants money up front. She gets 1000 knocked off for graduating with high honors but its still a pretty penny so theres all of the money and she actualy sort of bitched at me for paying. She pays me back everyday for being such a bright and beautiful sister but she starts work at Lidias again soon so mabey she will give me a couple of bucks for the Banshee. Im not going to ask but I wont refuse any. Thanks for listening and giving me advice. I appricate it.

What kind of riding do you do? Are you looking for any added preformance. About your compression read above and theres your answer. But if you have some $$$ saved up you could do alot with your motor. The HQ will help you figure out what setup is best for you if you have any questions.

Cheetah Powervalve vs. Cheetah Cub
Washburn replied to Handyman's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Is it the same thing one has PVs one doesnt? How much are the Cheetah PVs? The power valves would give it more bottom (haha) and smooth out the powerband for a few extra ponys for extra shifting power I want to say. I though the Cheetah cubs all had power valves how much more are they and Link please?
