  1. Guys any help on this welded rod situation? I would hate to start a new thread on this. The adjuster and the ball bearing came out, but i can't get the rod out. Anybody have any ideas on how i can get this rod out without splitting the cases? Thanks for all your help.
  2. Sandfrk, can you please post a pic of those tranny shafts? I had the same thing happen to me but i was able to get the pancake bearing out. The ball bearing is welded to the adjuster. Also, do you have any other advise on taking the rod out? When i stick a magnet in there i can move it a little bit but it won't come out. I think it welded itself to the clutch arm, because i can wiggle the arm and it moves the rod. I would hate to tear into a perfectly running shee. Ayways, Thanks for your guys' help!!
  3. Did you get her fixed yet bro?
  4. What's up Sloyider, i have a couple of guns i want to sell, one is an Ion and i have two Spiders with tanks and one face mask $300 all, let me know.
  5. Is the cable steel braided? Also what all is in the kit?
  6. Don't forget the swing arm +4 we don't want to put him on his back now do we!
  7. Yup! Kevin's the man  He did my bro's bike and my buddies bike, awesome work!!!!!!!two thumbs up!!!!!!
  8. Yup! do a search for "dc conversion" It seems like its very hard, but it's not.
  9. The twist throttle cable is longer!
  10. Damn guys!!!!!!! even with a 120 lb. rider on the bike? Also the clutch is fairly new, maybe four rides on it. It is a clutch that has barnett springs, barnett steel plates and friction plates off of a big bore street bike.
  11. Great!!!!!!!!! Thanks guys for the replies. I guess a round house swinger is going on my bike real soon!!!!!
  12. What about the bearing carrier? Where can you get one of those? Thanks for the reply!
  13. Well, the bike i'm referring to is my bro's, and the rider is my nephew, weighs about 120 or so. The bike has a dune port, milled head vf's 3, etc....But yeah it has a lot of power to take off in 3rd, without bogging, just some tire spin.
  14. Thumb throttle housing ,and stock length cable!
  15. The question i have is, could you mess up your clutch by launching in 3rd gear? Sorry for the dumb question Thanks !!!!!!! Sorry for the double post :shoothead:
