  1. yea i would, but just because i'm anal about things like that.
  2. you dont "have" to run them, they only cut down the "chatter" in the clutch
  3. mine doesnt move at all, but if its justa tiny amount you should be ok. now when you say push pull is the gear moving with it or just the basket? if its jus the basket you need to fix it .
  4. if u have a sawzal sp? you can cut it between the frame and the swingr, you will scratch your frame some but it will come off
  5. i concure, thats exactly what i do. i have ALOT of music and paid for almost none of it
  6. i sent my entire motor to FAST, i just got a rubber made tub and put old sheets and pillows in there to make sure it was safe, then drilled hols in the lid and zip tied the top. whole motor cost my like 100 bucks to ship each way
  7. yup, you should have a washer on each side of the bearing, that slides on the pancake and then the panckae slides into the pressure plate. make your adjustments then put the nut on and tighten down. make sur you dab a little grease on there when you put it on.
  8. i dont usually run mine this tight. i want to say it run mine .018 to .020 i just use a match book to set it.
  9. i always start at the source of power for electrical. so test the stator then cdi then coil then caps, but try to swap your wires and see if the problem follows to the other side. if so your problem is your wires or plug caps.
  10. mark, look up a thing called wmaconverter, it cost me like 15 bucks and it lets you convert protected files to unportected files. so when i download mp3s or what ever i always run it through there to make them all the same file types and get rid of any protection crap.
  11. 4H7-16321-01-00 is the part number for the plates
  12. do you just need the spacers? i have several sets of the front spacers. the rears are differant though.
  13. your not trying to spin it right? get some PB Blaser and soak the splines. and just hit it with a rubber mallet it should come off
  14. http://www.rockymountainatv.com/vehicleSel...o#vehicleSelect right there 45 bucks i would just buy the FZR1000 plates my self but if you dont want to hassle with it the FAST clutch is the same thing
  15. dont worry about it dave, we all have 6 packs, just some of us have it a little farther in the back of the fridge then others
  16. yea thats the metal from the fibers and steels slipping a little. as long as its not big peices are a ton of little ones you should be ok
  17. the nut should tighten against the inner hub which pushes against the washer thats between it and the basket.
  18. is there a washer behind the basket and another between the inner hub and basket?
  19. well you can still bypass the actual tors its self and not spend the money on the kit.
  20. joel, behind the basket should be a washer. is yours there? you should have two of them. on behind the basket and one between the basket and the inner hub.
  21. if your looking for real power gains stop looking at pistons. just get you a set of weisco prolites for a good reliable proven pistons. then for power get your motor ported and get carbs/intake, and exhaust to match the style of porting.
  22. just follow it down to the plug and disconnect it. you should remove all your TORS if you havent done so already. you can remove the ebrake but you will have a little pocket on the caliper thats open. so you can buy a block off plate for like 15 bucks but you dont "have" to have it
  23. i've seen and used both... they are very nice and in really good shape! wouldnt be sorry if you picked up either of these! good luck stevo! i still say get that rail so "we" can go riding in it
  24. if you or anyone you know is good with metal and welding yo can fabricate new ones and weld them in place. but if your just a shade tree mechanic i wouldnt suggest this. your a arms coming off at wot 5th gear = very bad day.
  25. how exactly is it wiggling? like front and back? or side to side? or is it twisting li,e the basket moves on the gear? oh and man you dont have to start a new thread for each post that youve already asked
