  1. yea you "can" use miss matched cases and jugs its just not recommended.
  2. i was going to say probly a snomo carb. but thats a 100% shot in the dark.
  3. Man, this month has been a shity one! I don't belive in the whole religon thing so I'm not going to say I'll pray for you but my thoughts go out to you for sure Dan! It sucks tht thing like this happen to good people, much less an innocent child! Good luck Dan! Thngs will be ok.
  4. either your running WAY lean or those pipes are old as fuk! blueing should not go that far back. its not uncommon for it to be right where they attach to the jugs but thats it
  5. its "best" to have jugs and cases tat have been worn down together. just helps make sure all your toleracnes check and that you dont have work done to one of them that wasnt to the other... as far as sending parts to ireland. a whole motor weighs about 100 lbs. so your shipping cost is going to be insane from the states, plus if you have to pay any kind of taxes
  6. either way its not to hard to fix it.
  7. thats the post i was talking about right there
  8. a shock that works on stock a arm will work on any aftermarket a arms as well, as long as they are not long travel.
  9. they can be a pain in the ass to get out even when they arn't locked in there... so you could still be ok.
  10. these last few months have been fucking hell! parts got stolen, school is overwhelming, wifes is getting ready to pop, now this. just cant get a break. it sucks not having a trailer anymore. i could save alot more stuff if i still had my toy hauler. I kept it on base and its in no danger over there. oh well what can you do right?
  11. well incase you guys dont know what going on, Alot of San Diego is on fire. My neiborhood is being evacuated and my wife is due on monday... not very good timing! so I probly wont be on here very much until this all get settled... i got to figure out what im goig to take with me and where i am going to store it... you can bet your ass im grabing my quad ... ill make several trips if i have to see you guys once its over
  12. they dont have anymore at 350, they are 375 now... (417) 695-2124 is thier number
  13. i cant remember off the top of my head if the stocker has a sleeve or not. but if it does it "should" have holes drilled through it so the grease gets to the bolt as well.. but its been a long time since i looked at a stock swinger so i cant remember for sure if thats how its setup... either way unless your riding in mud and water alot then there is no need to keep pumping grease in there... you can just pack the thing with grease when you install it and it will be good for a season easily. now if your in mud and water then it might not be a bad idea.
  14. Brian came through once again with more parts... sent me a rear brake rotor and wouldnt even let me pay for the shipping! this is the kind of guy we need on bhq!
  15. you cant post a search link, it will stop working after about a day. the way the site does its searches will cause the page to timeout and stop working... now ... John is an awsome guy to deal with! he sent me tons of part whn i had my parts stolen. This guy is a straight shooter and has almost any part you need when you need it
  16. painting would probly blow cause the gas would make it come off.
  17. yup its about a match book....
  18. well first off if you want a killer mx bike sell the banshee and get a 450 but ill answer the q's anyways... first and for most you need to buy a good suspension... this is by far your most expensive part... a good set of +2+1 a arms and a -2 swinger are very nice for jumping... also a extended axle... now for shocks you cant beat Work for the price... they have many differant styles.. a good shock for all around is the Pro Series tripple rates on the front and a quadstar on the back setup for your weight and a arms/swinger length... now after you have your suspension done... worry with motor... for some good lowend grunt look into a 2 in 1 carb set with a 35 pwk carb....vforce 3 reeds, a adjustable timing plate, coolhead and domes with size depending on what gas your running. can the stock air filter and get something tht breaths. pipes of your choice. there are TONS of lowend pipes, just have to start searcing for what kind of power range your looking for. then once you get all that some porting. now the mods above arnt nessessarily the best in that order i just typed them in as they hit the brain.... but that right there will be a totally differant machine...
  19. polishing and chroming are all about the prep work, as long as you did good prep work and didnt skimp on it the final will be nice
  20. send kaotik1 a messgae, he does coating and dose a damn good job at it
  21. nope both of them are 32mm. i even went outside and checked just to make sure.
  22. are you talking about the blueing where they hook to your jugs? this isnt uncommon, its normally caused by being lean on jetting but even with perfect spot on jetting it will happen over time, you can polish it out. try searching for it, there was someone that found some stuff that worked well along time ago...
  23. the clutch is a 32mm not 33... edit: i just checked the sproket its 32...
  24. if you take the banshee get redy to drop alot of money very fast! for the carbs im betting they are 28 pwks not 38..
