well if your going to powder coat them thne you dont need to oil them up. (Assuming your going to PC right away) You will need to strip them down to PC them too. If you have a way to use a snad blaster this would be your best bet to remove the paint. But im sure theres a better way to prep the metal... this is more of a question suited for Kaotik1 i didnt realize you wanted to PC them. Are you PCing them your self or having them done?

yea, but you dont have to soak them down,, just get a nice coat all over the place.

are you doing al ongrod ? if so your going to need 795 series pistons.

the tank is the 4gal IMS tank. also the tank has been fitted for a pingle valve. only means the plstic bridge in the center was cut out. You can still use the stock petcock just thought you might want to know it was removed. the spring was on my Works Rear but i had to up the spring becasue i gained weight. i used it when i was 180.

80hp also = new clutch, longer swinger, longer chain, better suspension, carbs intake and pipes to match, so if this dude can get you 80 hp with 600 buck PLEASE send me his info.

as long as you clean the "white stuff" off it you should be ok

thats one thing i hate about being on a computer and trying to diagnoes things, its hard to pick it out when its someone else typing the symptoms.

that would need to be a pretty narley leak to wash it out and not fire. but i guess we shall see once he resealed the head.

there is more going on then just a leak. he also said that one of the plugs looked unfired. if you got spark but that side isnt running your not getting fuel.

you dont need to torque the plugs. you should screw them in until they bottom out and give them a little bump and that should hold them.. if they are backing out you could possibly have some detonation. that can cause plugs to backout. look at the electrode and see if there is any damage to it.

whos heading out to glamis for thanksgiving? im not able to go for halloween but i want to pack up and head out for turkey day. i wont be on my banshee casue its not ready yet but ill have my wifes 450. so ill be looking to do more dunign then hillshooting. if your heading out and wouldnt mind an extra rider for your grup let me know. i got ot run it by the warden and make sure i dont get shot down with us having a 3 week old baby but she knows iv got the itch so i think ill be cleared hot

they need to put a differant filter on the tony hawk cam, theres a ton of noise with the wind hitting it
