  1. Jesse You are in my prayers bro. Hope you have a quick recovery.
  2. I dont know anyone who actually uses it, but i would guess that you could run it as long as you rejet for it. Your jetting should be very similar to running methanol. At one time I did setup my bike to run methanol but changed beck because at that time the price of methanol was approaching the price of race gas. The problems you should be looking for are: Fuel starvation - your current setup may not be able to feed enough fuel through the carbs. Less range - you will use fuel much faster so you will need to watch the level. Lighter wallet - again, you will use fuel much faster. And yes, I would purge every time. The high alcohol content is not great for bare aluminum, plus if you let the alcohol sit long enough it will congeal and clog up the carbs. Just my .02 . . . . . .
  3. Loco - not tryin to be a smartass, maybe I'm just not getting it, but according to the first post you anly had three shirts in your inventory. You have sold more than that since............ Thats prolly why people keep asking you if you have certain colors in certain sizes. That being said, do you have any xxl and xxxl shirts in black and/or dark gray ?
  4. Wow ! Thats a seriously long trip. At least you guys will be there for a while. There's nothing like it !!!!! Good luck on the road.
  5. It is really not necessary to add a crossover tube as long as the carbs are properly synced. I run with mine plugged as well. If you want one just PM NYUK on here. I'm sure he has one or two layin around that he would sell you.
  6. Anyone going to Glamis on Pres.Day weekend ?? It's all jacked up that Valentine's Day is in there !!! My wife is prolly not gonna be happy, but I gotta get out there.
  7. Look at this add on ebay. The billet mounts (round aluminum) fit in the stock location. I tried to find replacement mounts but have had no luck so far. Look around and if you cant find any, PM me and we can talk about making some for you. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-BANSHEE-TRAILTECH-LIGHTS-PAIR_W0QQitemZ130362463126QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_ATV_Parts_Accessories?hash=item1e5a355396 Those wires that came from the throttle were for the stock TORS system. You dont need them now. Don't know who built that head, but it IS a coolhead......Better than stock for sure.
  8. I have not had any problems with the Modquad products either. In fact I have a few of their parts on my current bike. However, when Noss came out with their current design, i dont remember anyone having a similar setup (the ability to use stock head studs and still be able to change the domes). I could be wrong.....
  9. I would go with the Noss Coolhead. You can use your stock head studs with it. Call Noss (they are a site sponsor here) and discuss dome size with them. Contact: 918-358-3804 You will have to think about what kind of gas you want to run before deciding on a dome size. They will be able to help you figure out what size will work best for you.
  10. If the clutch engages and disengages normally with the clutch lever then it sounds like a transmission issue.
  11. Whats wrong with it dude ? Gotta be something wrong if you are willing to go that low that fast .
  12. I voted 175. I have run 50/50 mix at 165 with no problems. I think that would work at 170 as well. I figure that I am a lil more conservative than others though and I don't think that I would chance running anything but 110 at 175psi. Of course, when I was a young pup, I ran 110 at 135psi cuz I thought it was cool and was giving me more power. LOL
  13. Classic !! :yelrotflmao: Bet you wish you could rephrase that huh...
  14. You ever talk to Jim about the problems you are having ?? I'm sure that he would rather help you with the problem you are having rather than hear from other people that you are not happy with his motor. I have a Passion 4mil and not having any problems with shifting and it does not have an override. Also, is he wanting to trade his motor for your motor ?? If so, I would be asking myself why that guy wants to trade his K&T motor for a Passion motor.
  15. Loco, How bout a few different shots of the chick in your sig on your banshee for the banner ?? LOL (she would need to be wearing a lil less tho)
