  1. lol dual screens is hard to work on... we have them at work and i hate trying to find which screen has the mouse lol
  2. only thing that blows about the washes is all the dust settles in your camp at night, thats why we moved away from the washes.. but we are still very close to sand highway
  3. it will blow out the exhaust or burnup.plus you dont put very much its a TINY amount only to hold the orings in place for you to be able to flip the head over without the orings moving
  4. gekco sux imo... your kinda far away from olds and thats where everyone races at... of course sat at 1 everyone will showup to the sand drags and your right by there if you camp geko but everything else is a trip from there...i normally camp near the washes.. but now i got a nice privite area i like to camp
  5. family man!?! HELL NO, I'm 25 going on 10! I just happen to have a kid lol. I already had a toy hauler but got rid of it. I'm not from cali and i'll be leaving ina few years so there was need to keep it.
  6. you got to remember he is close to southern calif so these basterds try to base thier prices off of the overpriced market in san digeo
  7. regaurdless of using grease or vasoiline, you just need to put a tiny amount of a few parts around the oring to hold t in place when flip the head over. its not a matter of greasing the o ring to help it not crack its just to hold it in place so it dosent shift making a leak
  8. yea i was a little worried having mine painted too but i only ride in the dunes so i dont have to worry about rocks and all that very much and i dont plan on wrecking lol so paint should hold up well..
  9. if your looking to do something with alot of details then wrapping is a good way to cut costs... but mine doesnt have much details so it was better to go with paint for the look and quality
  10. yea i was trying to lookup some info on stock carbs too because i havent looked at a set of stocker in a while...
  11. I was originally planning on doing a wrap but with the design i went with the paint was more efficient
  12. i dont think its the drain plug because he said it did it from the get go. The needle seat being off is very common. check the drain and clean it but i dont think thats it. edit: i just re read his last post and he said it is only the bottom hose and NOT the top ones so it could be that screw...
  13. long travel just gets your bike a little higher up and gives it more travel on the arms before they bottom out. they are used alot in desert racing because of the dig long whoop sections and rocks and what not. for most riders long travel isnt really needed.
  14. last year me and another guy on here organized a BHQ ride where we all showed up at the Glaims Beach store at noon or something like that on sat. Makes it ez so everyne knows where its at. Best bet is to make a sign so all the new guys know where the group is. I'm sure bada450r and a few familir faces will showup and take the lead of it this year becasue i wont make it out. my old lady is due with our baby on halloween. so in one way im sad that i wont make the trip but in another ill cool with it becasue my little man will finally be here.
  15. the PJ is an older carb that came on i think it was CR250's in the 80's
  16. very nice chroming on those! thats surly not chroming from shearer
  17. it used to be that any where in cali that didnt have signs was open riding areas but the law is cracking down on it now...
  18. any set of a arms will take stock shock, the only time you need longer shocks is if you get a long travle set of a arms. i didnt look to see if wicked makes long travle or not cause i wasnt buying them but if you get those then 450 shock will not work they are not long enough for long travle arms...
  19. sound like you juts need a rebuild kit for the float needles
  20. where do you live at? if it happens to be san diego bring it by my house and we will get it working in no time. if not well sry
  21. you wont be disappointed its good stuff. now that they are a big name in racing it probly alot harder to get them to sponser race teams, we got on board with them when they where a new company in the market.
