  1. I was sorting through some jets I have and needed a 48 pilot for my 2 into 1 since I went back to an airbox, anyway I have a 48 pilot from my 450R's stock carb that fits but the bottom where it screws in is shorter. This jet fits, but I didn't know if the shorter bottom makes a difference since the top portion where the actual jet holes are is identical. Anyone with any experience please chime in. Here's a pic...
  2. Check this out...hiper link
  3. kick his ass seabass!...I've been wanting to say that everytime I see your name. :yelrotflmao: That's some good shit.
  4. I think the stock shocks will be a little soft, but the yfz shocks are compression adjustable so I don't see why they won't work.
  5. I guess I'm the ultimate dickhead since I work for Honda :yelrotflmao:
  6. I have the 2 into 1 and it's really simple to tune. I personally think it's worth the extra money to not have a lot of the hassle that comes with 2 carbs and it also smoothes everything out nicely. No loss of power for me and jetting is a snap. I would recommend one for trails, but it's not a must. As far as the $400 bones, you can buy one in the $300 range and sell your stockers to make up a little. I don't see myself going back to 2 carbs. JMO
  7. Yeah, the six small meals keeps your metabloism going. The gallon of water helps out too. A few big meals makes you lethargic.
  8. Yeah, I'd have done away with the kicking shit. Here's another one they've got. Another
  9. A friend from high school's got a band and I thought they sounded alright if you're into alternative rock...not really hardcore or anything but sound better than most local bands I know of. They're from a small town here and play a gig here and there. A local rock station plays they're stuff now and then too. The video is totally low budget, but the guy I know is in the white wife beater shirt. I went to school with a few of the others. Hidden Element
  10. Click on my user name and it'll show just about all you want to see/know.
  11. I'd sell mine for the right price. I live in Alabama, but my Grandparents live in Opelousas and my aunt and cousins are in New Iberia. They're back and forth every few weeks. Check my profile and my posts in my profile for pics if you think you might be interested.
  12. If your going to drink the sobe, get the sugar free ones. Instead of the powerbar try some of the higher protein ones. Walmart sells all kinds of quality ones now. I personally like the meso-tech bars and the detour bars too (taste just like a snickers). Another big help is water, if you can down a gallon throughout the day it will make a big difference. You'll feel better and your metabolism will be elevated, but you'll piss like crazy.
  13. Cut your simple carbs, sugars in all forms and fruits. It's alright to have a little sugar right after you workout. Replace them with vegetables and complex carbs like oatmeal, whole wheat bread, and brown rice. Ditch the salt, it makes you retain water so you'll look bloated. Up your protein, aim for 1 gram per pound of your bodyweight. Tuna, egg whites, chicken/turkey breast, fish, and lean beef or pork. A local gym owner was Ms. Alabama a few times (women's bodybuilding) and knows her shit so I would have her make me a diet for around $20 with all the guess work taken care of with a grocery list and all. Anyway, no deep fried shit. Try to eat something small every 3 hours to keep your metabolism going. You'll probably get irritable from dieting so caffeine helps out big time. As far as your workouts, your best bet is to start reading up. Take a trip over to the book store and buy a few mags and a maybe even a real book. There are tons out there, I could go on all day about different routines but you should start with something fairly basic. Hope this helps.
  14. Probably a Fourtrax bend or cr hi with some block risers.
  15. I think I've got a stock one in the garage. Let me check.
  16. Yeah, you'll be really close with those jets.
  17. I use to buy all kinds of stuff, but now I just stick w/ protein powders. I realized after awhile that I was focusing on the supplements and not my regular diet. Diet is number 1, then supps. If I try anything in the near future it'll probably be CE2 and NO2. I've tried just about everything out there but the juice. I do like some of the energy drinks they sell at the gym.
  18. It's way to rich, I'm gonna say try a 270 main and stock pilot (25) with the needles on the fourth clip if everything else is stock. You may have to go up or down a size or two with your mains but I think that would get you close w/ your lid on.
  19. My wife never rides and she can climb on a 400ex and ride it with no problem, the power is perfect and the torque keeps her from stalling every other minute. The new ones even have reverse. The 450's are a little more high strung and need more revs and clutch work IMO. The KFX700's are nice, but awfully big for a woman to handle.
  20. Just let me know, I also removed the stuff I was talking about from the bracket. Installed a tether kill switch in it's place, but that stays with the bike. Here's some pics...
  21. The clutch cushions are fresh and I checked the sprockets, but I guess I'll check again.
  22. Hey Kai, what do you think a good tensile strength would be? I think most decent chains are 8,000+? I was thinking about a gold x-ring or something along those lines.
  23. The tires grab really good in grass which was what I was on, so maybe I was getting some serious traction. I didn't really use much travel when it would do it, it would rare up and jerk when it launched. Maybe it was slipping and grabbing like you said. I'd just hate to throw a chain, now might be a good time for a case saver. :shoothead:
  24. I personally have an LSR, but while I was shopping for one I talked to Santo Derisi and he said to stay away from durablue because they break easily. He has his own suspension business so I'll take his word.
  25. I rode the shee for a little while today testing out my new irazrs and a couple times when I pinned the throttle and it stood up it would jerk like something was catching or bind for a split second. Checked my rear linkage and it was fine, then checked my chain and it was a little loose so I tightened it (will test it out tomorrow). The axle bearings are new and everything has just been greased in the rear suspension. I'm thinking maybe chain slack and it catches when the swingarm angle changes. Let me know if this sounds right or if I'm overlooking something. The shock is in really good shape too.
