Drop them off at a local engine shop and have them glass beaded, it's cheap and you won't have to deal with the mess.

Hey alll. Been gone a little while, my computer "Ol Faithful" packed it in and just recently got one of them new fandangled Pentium core 2 Duo's with some decent power....hell this thing is so fast it makes me wonder how I got by for so long lol. I also spent Saturday workin on Canadarider's bike, he made the 1.5 hour drive to have myself and bruup (Ty) work on his ride, I think we got him fixed up nicely and with a little tunin, he'll be tearn up his hometown feedin it to all the 4-strokes. Adam is good people and it was good fun to get together and turn wrenches, by the way...he needs a rear caliper if any of you got one, drop him or myself a PM. OH YA....I also have another baby on the way, due early July. Thats bout all new with me....have I missed anything here? :beer:

I used vinyl wash for bare metal primer (etching primer), epoxy primer, 2 coats silver base, 3 coats of pearl blue and 4 coats high build clear, I find it very durable, and like you say, if you have problems with the pc or a crack or what ever, your screwed. A buddy of mine had his frame PC'd and the guy did a terrible job, now he's stuck with it.

Ebay is a good start. Start with the suspension and do the mods that don't cost anything.

If you remove the center divider and switch to a TDR reed (1 reed for top and 1 for bottom) it makes a pretty big differance, the complete set is about 50$. If you want to use your peddals, PM me I have a set of ported ones with stock peddles you can have.

apples & oranges my friend, the V force has it's own cage design. I personally, intead of spending the 250$, spent 50$ on a set of TDR reeds and moded my cages, that makes a huge differance over stock! and leaves me with cash for other mods.

the oil pump pumps oil to through the carbs, if you run an aftermarket carb that might have benn the problem. If you wish to get rid of the oil injection, you won't need any "kit", the clutch cover is the same as the banshee, hte banshee just uses a crankcase vent in place of the pump (most of us Banshee guys will notice this in the huge void below the water pump). You can fit the Wiseco hot rods 4mm/ +5mm long rod stroker crank and 795 series pistons with no case mods, but you may have to rework the head, you may want to send a PM to PassionRE he is very fermilliar with these engines and has built some SICK RZ motors. If you want a stock crank, the banshee crank is also the same and you should have no problem finding one on here. Have fun with the rebuild
