did you just wash it?, if they're stock carbs, theier famous for sticking. Give them a good cleaning and make sure you don't have the slides in backwards.

Ok folks heres the skinny. It was 3 years ago, I got my Banshee Brand new for my birthday from my wife, I road it stock for the first season and when winter came I had the "bug" to hop it up, so I turned to the internet. While surfing about jetting I came across Ben's ATV page and WOW, talk about info overload. Since Ben had simaler mods to the upcomming ones on mine I dropped him an email for a little more info (tors, axel grease zerk,etc.) and BAM, the next day had a lengthy explination and how to in my mail box. I was so surprised by the response I sent him another email to thank him, and of course he offered help "anytime". It's been a couple of years now, of periodic emails and Ben even added me to his MSN. WHen it came time for my Rz conversion, Ben was right there, sending me a wiring diagram, and always answering any question I have with out hesitation. Ben is also responible for getting me to join HQ, since he spoke so highly of it. I'm sure many of you on here have had help from Ben at one time, he is truly an excellent, helpful indavidual and a credit to the banshee community! So I just wanna take this little peice of the web and say THANX BEN, thanx for putting up with all my seemingly endless brain picking, and bother. I also what you to know, even though I'm super far away, If you need anything I can help with you say the word, or if your ever up this way, your always welcome here! Key here is street car, BIG differance to a race car. I've seen RX7's, porshes, even a VW camper van pull the wheels, you got to remember Turbo's build torque. Sure #'s can be matched on paper, but to drive high hp muscle cars is much different than a high strung turbo 4 cyl. I've driven lots of each and they all have a perpose, but O love the old iron. Those of you who know, know what I'm talkin about.

Take for instance that you wanna be a judge, bet dollars to doughnuts you wouldn't get far if you were an athiest, so if you wanted to live your dreams you would be forced into religion, or pretend. The handlebars are prolly anodized, there are paints that mimmick it. For the repair cost of that POS 350 4-poke, you could prolly pop in a Banshee powerplant hehe.

There's certinly no harm in tryin, I think it may be a lost cause on a round slide. A d slide is it's shape if you look at it from the end (flat on the front, arched on the rear) The idea of the devider is to divy up the air flow, with a smaller opening air is sped up but flow (volume) is reduced, with a larger opening, opposite. That is the idea behind the v-force design, they split the cage opening into 4, affectivly increasing ventury speed through the peddals. If you want low dollar options, look into moding the stator plate to advance your timing, take some material off the head (.025-.030), or lighten your flywheel. I'll have to look, but I might have a set of bored stock carbs around here still. I'll let you know.
