  1. If you have big feet like myself you may wanna try a set of blaster or raptor pegs, they sit approx. 2 ' back wich makes it real easy to get under the shifter and also sets your weight further to the rear. Forma's take a long time to "break in", 3 years on mine and they are still stiff, which is the idea for protection. Nice machine, can't wait to hear of it's madien voage!
  2. That Shee look like Deans old RZ powered Banshee? Are those frame still available?
  3. Silver lake (Mears) has a good website, you can find all the parking, passes, & park info there.
  4. The 4mil kit from wiseco w/ the 795 series piston is the way to fly, & I havn't heard a bad thing about Jeff at Fast, so hit him up! You'll be glad you did it
  5. Kinda not really, man used to run a CK-10 everyday for a while, damn thing would nearly put ya to sleep with it's manaughtinous sound of the oil pump, hone motor and the ratcheting sound at the bottom of each stroke lol... Finish hone looks real good bigred, I think it's still a little course but everyone has there preferance for finish, the crosshatch also looks a little tight, but for your first set I think you did awsome, most people don't know how tricky it is, honing & cooling and repeat and contantly checking size. Well done. Oh and if you were wondering you can also use varsol as a coolant, in some of our machines we use a varsol, tranny fluid, oil mix...works very well!
  6. Well done Lee, I can't imagine the ammount of work you go through! THANX!
  7. I'm no Guru, but I recently purchased a new Computer, a Pentium Core 2 Dual 6400 w/ 2 gig 800hrz ram, thing freakin FLYS! Also got a raidmax Smileodon case, this thing is awsome, lots of fans (5) inc. a 120mm, and the side panels clip open with handle latches on the top either side, also has a support for the vid cards and the drive bay also swivels out for access, not to mention all the blue led's and clear panel if your into bling...for me it was function over fassion. This new pentium set up works real nice and stays cool, even when I'm workin it over real hard with all the graphics software I run, apperantly it also overclocks well... but like I said I ain't no Guru and thats out of my leauge  Google the case....it's real nice!
  8. What Grit you usin Big red? ...looks a little coarse for a moly ring app. Are you using plateauing stone/brushes afterwards?, what are you using for coolant/oil?
  9. Looks insane fresh! I'd love to ride one!
  10. I'd like to do the rings on my beadlocks, would the coating chip when a washer & bolt it tightened against it?, can a polished peice be coated or dose it need a scotchbrighting to adheare?
  11. Thats why I bought one, everytime you read of a new quad the question is asked "is it as fast as a Banshee?", it's like they've set the benchmark, and set it high for performance, all with 30 year old tech! ...long live the Banshee!!!!
  12. smoke ring looks a little shallow, a size up should put ya in the right spot!
  13. Thanx for all the kind words Adam, I alway like to help...It's my nature and probably why I don't make good money with my graphics business  . Ty and myself were also eiger to help because it wasn't long ago when we were in the very same position, I had to learn & reserch by myself since no one around me had one of these crazy rides, and it was the great BENBB and the forums here on BHQ that got me well on my way, so I guess this is a good time to thank all the members that helped me in the past & present! We'll deffinatly have to hook up again soon and rip around on the ice. Until then keep the rubber side down & take care! Happy Holiday Adam, and all you great people here on BHQ!

  18. Is that a street bike powerplant in there to?, and a stretched chassis...wow, pretty crazy
  19. there are also thread repair inserts, like a thicker heli-coil, a pipe plug and a drill & tap to propper size will work to.
