  1. Freeshippingqoute.com From the transmission warehouse I worked I found only a few companies I trust. Saia, R&L, Holland, & Road Runner. Only guys who "ALWAYS" got it right.
  2. Look up Dart racing products. I think they have good info on it
  3. Also, for the dome work. You might need to just get the Athena domes machined. There are a few good tuners out there in Australia who do a lot of RZ/RD work. Look on the RZ350 forums and they are pretty active
  4. WSM! $190 plus shipping
  5. Ditch the Athena domes! Also TDR has the deals on WSM and I used them in my big bore motor with great success. The Vito's are fine as well. Just make sure you go forged!
  6. No need to kick it over. Just turn it over like the drag guys do from the crank
  7. Do you have access to look at the cases the jugs are off of? If so you can see if they are trenched. If there is a machined groove fro the crank it would be a 7, if there is no machining it's probably the 4mm
  8. Pm me if you're interested
  9. We can't all be simpletons. The fact that people are to lazy to read and they use it as a positive cool factor trait is part of the dumbing down of America.
  10. Research the types of stock frame mods for your type of desired racing. 300 foot, hill shooting? Plenty of content on here to get you started. Then research the motor you would want. My suggestion would be a 421 cub. Tons of them out there running awesome and making guys happy. Not to mention it is a good combo to learn on since there is so much info on them set up wise. I would steer clear of the 10 mil idea till you really have a grasp on what you are doing.
  11. No offense, but your .02 cents is foreign currency from a third world country with that comment. You do realize that 4 stroke snomobiles are still a pretty new thing?
  12. Didn't Banshee Wars used to be a sanctioned Dune/Hill race? I know there was always bullshit involved, but what racing isn't these days. People have always tried to push the limits of the vague grey areas since the dawn of racing and unfortunately most of the honest folks are fizzling away.
  13. Which jugs? And you can sleeve even the nicasil stuff. If your machinist is good have him do it. But then there is additional porting work to be done, so it makes sense to send it off to a decent Banshee specialist/builder
  14. Yeah, good luck with that running 110 or alky. Not gonna happen
  15. The two layer foam UNI's are pretty stellar in protection. Honestly an outer wear couldn't hurt but probably wouldn't do to much for them that they couldn't do them selves. There are a ton of people that use the filter socks for silt type of conditions. I know a ton of people who even swear by panty hose over their foam filters, and they swap them every ride/race. Seemed to help them stay cleaner longer
  16. Pro circuits are great on a trail/mx bike. Even a 4 mil. They seem to really respond to porting as well.
  17. X2 on welding the crank. But cross that bridge on an actual rebuild. There are a lot of bolt on bikes that can make fun bikes. Pipes, reeds, intake, carbs, pod filters, head work or cool head,
  18. Pretty rare that people can buy everything all at once. So go for the serval or even port your cylinders. But in the end for a guy like you the serval would probably be a perfect investment even in stages. However, here is my disclaimer: you do NEED to make sure you do all the internals at once or you will be pulling the motor apart a handful of times to get it right. 1. Quality Crank trued and welded 2. Transmission (stock cut, pro mod, EZ shift) claimed to all be the same but some have slight differences 3. Shifting mods- Modded shift shaft - Modded shift star - Shift Pro 4. Clutch: A lockup is preferred but you can get by with out it for a while. -Fresh basket, hub, and plate - New cushions -Fast or Driveline FZR1000 style clutch.
  19. Good stuff right there.
  20. Carb cleaner is a definite NO. That stuff will blast any oil or grease right off any part it touches
  21. Correction: he asked about the cylinder kit. Which means "kit". The pistons that come with it are GARBAGE!
  22. Floats shouldn't just stick. Clean and adjust the carbs
  23. Depends, did you buy it for stock stroke?
  24. Rabble rabble rabble! Take your show on the road and run it where it counts! I really like Jim, but Gary, stop........ Just freaking stop. Whether your right or wrong just stop! Hell you guys don't even have to be the tuners and racers. Find someone you know who is really spot on and give them full support with your product and put them in to the 300' race with the other big names. (brad painter perhaps?) You do realize that if you do hit LS for The HQ ride and it is a failure that you are pretty much finished. You will never get whatever it is that you want from people by peak dyno numbers and racing dune goons. You can dyno better and then people will still say they want track results. I get that you guys have a 500' champion running your stuff. But you need to realize that 99% of the fellas on here have no idea what 500' racing is, nor do they give a shit about it. Hell Brad posted times slips and got bashed because people only know how to analyze 300' runs. I applaud the fact that you are trying to put out another contender in the pipe choices, but it has to be as much of a performer as you claim. Not just some pretty piece of jewelry for a bike.( credit given, they are flawless in fab) So for real, you need to quit playing candy land if you wanna learn how to dominate monopoly. Make sense? So pack your trailer!
