  1. Yeah, read every thread in this section. Look for the most credible work and take lots of notes and save a ton of photos.
  2. Try a CGL needle or a DGL/DGH needle to get the transition smoothed out.
  3. Are you sure? Because I've had that conversation with Matt on the phone when purchasing raw pipes and he told me "absolutely do not ceramic coat these pipes". That was in reference to the small bore inframe pipes. I have seen it help some pipes and hurt others. It just depends on the pipe design. OP: Don't put any thing on those pipes other then chrome or paint.
  4. 916's. Maybe an old set of dyno port duals if you can find them. There is also the power pros. But you would be surprised to know how cheap the paul turner stuff goes used.
  5. Oregon has some really sweet dunes and with a little research on here you can get a good idea of what type of motors are really working out there in all the idiot holes. Lew at twister is in Boring Oregon out there, but I bet you would also be extremely happy with Cam at redline as well.
  6. The thread is not about titanium. And there are several titanium chassis out there and bikes with titanium hardware.
  7. BansheeHP! Or lane..... Depends who's working that day.
  8. Why not! As long as it is a motor designed to burn it. Compression and timing are titties!
  9. Many of these small motors in dirtbikes and atv's are Un sleeved. Just aluminum with a Nickasil coating.
  10. No, they have a sleeve pressed in to them. There are guys taking the aluminum stuff and setting them up with iron sleeves though. Mostly to change porting though.
  11. Q16 is good shit. Seems like over kill on the octane though. I am having great results with the oxygenated VP113.
  12. Bump for a no nonsense seller. Joe always has the good shit!
  13. Not sure what you mean then. No point in boring it if you are re sleeving.
  14. ASV lever and new clutch cable. If you're a baller on a budget, I hear the FAST ez pull is nice.
  15. So drag stator is just bare bones stator with no lighting circuit? I have Unplugged mine along time ago and hope to not use them ever. Thinking of a drag stator for sure!
  16. ^yep. He's just a cunt. Sure hope my next tranny is as good because it will be from some one else.
  17. Why did you sell your shit any way nick?
  18. Some people are starting to forget that this thread is for hillariously funny ads. Not regular deals.
  19. Nice Jim..... Man, that little kid on the 85 stays on it pretty hard!
  20. That is how most older big vote kits were done. The machinist would press out the older sleeve, bore the cylinder appropriately for the big bore sleeve and press it in and maybe deck the top of the jugs to give a clean flush surface. Is it worth it? Not any more. There are so many after market set ups out there now that if you really want more displacement/power then what a stock cylinder can do for you it's less headache and more reliable to just get a new set up.
  21. You could buff it out on wheels, but it takes a lot of time. With that said I reccomend you look in to having the parts tumbled. Maybe even find a place you could ship it to to have the tranny micro polished.
  22. Pipes are great, but over priced. Don't trust any of their mechanical skills though
  23. Wow! I wonder how many cars they dropped down a flight of stairs before they figured that design out.... That thing is dope! On with your question. Can you build it? Well, can you? I get the feeling that since you gotta ask that it is probably a little out of your league to fabricate something that nice. Wich brings me to the other half of your question. Can you buy it? Hell yeah! Some one built it for X amount of dollars so as long as you can afford it buy it! If you can't, bang an old lady that can afford to buy it. Because that thing is bitchin'!
