  1. Not to far off if it's been bored a couple times
  2. I gotta admit, that^ was fucking AWESOME! Super burn!
  3. Tear down and start over. Why would you ride it back after you remembered coolant wasn't added?
  4. For the record, (not trying to pick a fight or be a smart ass) but any motor is on AV gas is half assed. It's not real race fuel but it certainly ain't no premium either. It's some where half way between the two....... Half assed! Any cub should at least have stock tranny done with a play/ez shift/pro mod type of cut or it's only performing to half of its potential.... Half assed! Yeah you can bolt these things together and they'll run, but with out taking care of the little details, it'll only perform half as good as it should. With the forums these days it's impossible to not have access to all the info needed. With the wealth of knowledge around here, you really would be doing a half assed job by knowing what should be done and just being lazy and not doing it.
  5. Gigot is mentioned in almost every successful efi set up
  6. Ok, I stand by my previous recommendation.
  7. This is true ^, but I will admit I don't have the balls to tune a car with any kind of boost without some kind of A/F gauge present. Preferably an AEM EUGO. Super nice piece although there are other nice units out too.
  8. Easy once you know how to understand the feed back of a bike. Lean throw fuel at it. Rich take it out till it is just starting to show deto and then back off a bit. Or you could be conservative, but let's face it. Turbo bike owners aren't very conservative on the tune up when it really matters. (Note: that last statement depends on MY idea of conservative not yours)
  9. Yeah, tell him to fucking re machine that shit. And don't pay him due to inconvenience. Guys seem to think its ok to agree with you on what you need, then just send you what's left on the shelf and hope you don't know so they can save time. If he says yeah I have "X" you damn well better get X in the mail. If he wanted more money for a custom dome he no longer stocks then it's on him to say " I don't have, it costs this much to make"
  10. Time for a set of new PWK's
  11. Funny jereme brings all that up. I was jumping a big hill where they were putting a new road and somehow made a castle nut pop off the threads and didn't know it till I was wound out in 6th. I held on and bought new ball joints and started asking GP guys about bike prep..... There's a whole lot more to it then just tuning and swapping parts.
  12. Huh, every one has ricks in the description but the banshee. And they are completely out of stock right now...... Thing is you can get ricks from every where that stocks their banshee stuff so I'd imagine that if it is a ricks they would have some in stock at Racetech. It is weird though..... Wonder what they got going on.
  13. If you have him do it, get the domes rechambered as well as the milling. He'll, that might even be what he is doing but I doubt it. But really you would be better off with an aftermarket head, however there's nothing wrong with a properly set up stocker.(I could only keep my big bore sealed up with a modified stock head.) You should find one used and maybe get Jeff to cut you domes for it.
  14. Selling Ricks? Mine is definitely no Ricks or Ricky stator. That is fishy...... Any proof of said allegation?
  15. You answer the half assed comment in your post replying to zilla. He was saying its hAlf assed to bolt on bitchin cylinders with out doing all the bottom end stuff you mentioned your buddy had. Those would be totally different motors and not welding the crank, changing the clutch, or working the tranny over, would be completely half assed. E85* just go gas or alky. That is a line not ready to be fiddled with by someone with out lots of tuning experience. It is very inconsistent and requires lots of attention with different batches of fuel. But if you absolutely want it, rob at RDZ is pretty good with 350's and knows the E85 stuff. I fact he's one of the few actually that really messes with it.
  16. Haha, I remember Matt and I pissed some newb off so bad he wrote our names and I think Sandman's on shot gun shells. Then Matt joked about showing it to his law force friends the dude practically begged Matt to forgive him. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=156967&&page=4
  17. Yeah, looks weird for just a plug chop. I'm with coup on that.
  18. 27.5, 280, 1 clip richer. Maybe start at 300 main and work down. Any air box mods? That would change things up a little as well.
  19. I don't think it wold be exactly on par but within a few ft lbs and HP. It's loud though, and I'd imagine that if you're just doing stinger tube there is something to be had by figuring out the right diameter and length......
  20. Ahh. Skeeter ain't bad. He Just posts responses equivalent to the topic at hand.If you think it's been bad so far...... Just wait till Matt gets back from kicking cancer in the fucking nuts! Your days could get frustrating.
  21. Just pro design shelf domes.
  22. Domes, just call Dave Noss at Noss Machine and answer his questions and he will do the rest. Be prepared to measure for deck height as he might not know the untouched measurements of an Athena cylinder
